FOX SMOOTH NATIONAL TERRIER 11 Fox Terriers (Smooth) Judge/s:Bill Browne-Cole (Travella) FOX SMOOTH JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 11 Smooth Fox Terriers I was disappointed that many fine specimens failed in front movement. Although moving true coming in profile there was very little reach. This needs to be redressed. MPD (3) 1 Hall’s Gosel Earl Grey, very promising youngster, long head, nice make & shape, good bone, legs & feet, moved steadily. BP; 2 Morris’ Sanamaris Seventy Seven, promising b/w, good front & rear. Just needs time to do really well; 3 Baker’s Darlaur Denman with Tuskenraider. PD (3) 1 Marston’s Chipstead Hermes, t/w, pleasing head, good reach of neck, correct bone, legs & feet, moved steadily both ways; 2 Hall’s Gosel Ceylonesse, b/w, very good head shape, pleasing front. Needs to strengthen in topline. Moved steadily; 3 Falkous’ Falkmere’s First Edition. JD (3) 1 Griffiths & Jones’ Yoxella Whistle And Flute with Darfaur, smart b/w, excellent body shape & condition, long punishing head, well placed ears, moved with great drive. Would have preferred more reach. RCC; 2 Hannar’s Borovale Brigadier, promising t/w, good front & rear, correct topline. Would prefer slightly better set on. Should do well; 3 Harris’ Tamarwahy Stripe. ND (0). PGD (1) A. LD (7) 1 Brookes’ Mischief In Disguise for Zetamaz, beautifully balanced dog, long head. Would prefer slightly leaner skull. Very good body shape, couldn’t stand wrong, excelled in movement; 2 Lewis’ Dobelands Silent Danger, foursquare b/w, ample neck, lovely dark eye, correct angulation, covered the ground well; 3 Tindle’s Jesuie Un Rock Star. OD (6) 1 Julian’s Vertway Scots Guard at Lanyon’s, top quality t/w, long punishing head, excellent ear carriage, reachy neck set in the best of shoulders, short level back, correct set on, good depth to body, gun barrel front, excellent feet, correct angulation, moved with drive & reach. CC, his third; 2 Brookes’ Dobelands Touch Of Frost at Zetamaz, t/w, great body shape, very good bone, legs & feet, moved with drive & reach; 3 Darby’s Ch Starpride Devil In Disguise. MPB (0). PB (1) A. JB (6) 1 Hughes & Butcher’s Forgevale Simply Stunning, classy young t/w, loved her make & shape, long lean head. Ears need to settle a little. Moved with drive & reach, should do well; 2 Griffiths’ Yoxella Welsh Gold, classy bitch, loved her head, good spring of rib, excellent set on, moved freely, should do well; 3 Baker’s Roxway Early Dawn at Tuskenraider. NB (0). PGB (6) 1 Brookes’ Dobelands Giggle And Gossip at Zetamaz, b/w, pleasing head & eye, compact body, excellent set on, moved with drive. Would prefer more reach in front; 2 Ketley & Gash’s Migley Eileen at Enjakay, t/w, excellent front, stood well. Would prefer more reach; 3 Hannar’s Ambers Ginger Spice at Borovale. LB (8) 1 Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Dawn To Dusk, very classy t/w, loved her head, eye & ears, reachy neck, big ribs, correct set on. Moved with drive & reach. Should make up. RCC; 2 Julian’s Lanyons Extra Touch, quality bitch, loved her make & shape, excellent mover. Ears need to settle; 3 Wilson’s Lizoni Shadow Dancer. OB (5) 1 Horspool’s Ch Rotur Celtic Desire of Adaires, top quality b/w, beautifully balanced, gorgeous head, eye & ears, gun barrel front, well sprung ribs, in good muscle tone, excellent set-on, couldn’t stand wrong. In fabulous coat & condition, a very worthy champion. CC & BOB; 2 Magill’s Grambrae Fair Mistress, typey t/w, loved her head & eye, excellent topline, correct set on, a pleasure to see her move; 3 Averis’ Dobelands Ice Diva of Saredon.
