FOX SMOOTH MANCHESTER 25 Judge: Mrs Zena Thorn-Andrews FOX SMOOTH JUDGE MANCHESTER 25 PD (2) 1 Wilbergs Kanix Stafford Nice for size and overall type. I liked his strength in head & foreface. His ears had just been unstuck though, by the look of them!. Fairly good front, & an excellent body for a baby. Poking his head forward moving, as pulling against the lead, true up & down, but not the extension going around as yet. 2 Morgans Lizoni Trailblazer Big puppy, too much colour in his coat I thought, and it was very ticked. Excellent temperament, lengthy head, ears rather loose as yet. Correct firm topline, moved OK, just would prefer him smaller all round. JD (4) 1 Pereiras Flea Market Da Quinta Do Pasto CC B Puppy Dog. Big enough, ears set a trifle loose, loved his strong foreface. OK in front, Good depth of chest, and not over wide here. Excellent short level back, neat quarters, very sound mover and an excellent free, active stride in profile, where he swept the older dogs away later for the CC. 2 Thornton, Bebbington, Breton, & Anderson-Watts Umberto Tozzi Du Manoir Saint Adrien. Better for size, & so powerful in rear. Superbly muscled up. Pleasing head proportions. Pins in, both standing and moving, otherwise a good mover in rear & profile. Ears set a touch to the side. 3 O’Connors Natan Od Rytire Malovce PGD (1) 1 O’Connors Natan Od Rytire Malovce. A big framed dog and little weak in foreface. Enough length to his neck. Good shoulder set & well off for bone. Moved out quite freely. Nice but oversized I felt. No height in the standard but weight up to 18lb, else they surely could not get down a fox hole. LD (3) 1 Kettles United Du Manoir Saint Adrien Avec Foxindean Good size, head pleasing but eyes could be rounder, although they are small & sparkling. Too straight in forehand, enough depth & width of chest. Fair topline. Super quarters and has powerful drive from behind 2 Brookes Zetamaz Stand And Deliver Touch weaker in foreface & even straighter in shoulders, consequently short steps in front. Shows well. Better topline than above, good for size and a handy dog, not going so well on the day & very wide going away. 3 Griffiths Yoxella Weeks Notice OD (3) 1 Peakins Ubble Du Manoir Saint Adrien At Byzantine R CC Heavy in body & certainly needs to drop at least a couple of lbs. Easy active free mover, true both ways, tail set well up, body nicely put together, just too much of it. Pleasing head & expression. 2 Brookes Ch Zetamaz I’m Your Man JW ShCEx OSW Back skull falls away too much, foreface strong. OK for length of neck, but too straight in shoulders. He actually does move with a fairly long stride in profile. Well muscled, good behind. Super coat, overall in lovely nick. 3 Wilbergs Ch Kanix Quintus VD (1) 1 Nichols Zetamaz Just Inked Handy size and good body properties. Ears set a bit too low. Fair front. Excellent hard body condition, still well up on his feet for age. Would prefer less colour in his coat. Smart & sound! PB (4) 1 Pereiras Femme Fatalle Da Quinta Do Pasto R CC B Puppy, Res Best Puppy in Show. Outstanding puppy, I loved her! Attractive lengthy head. Well placed eyes, giving a typical terrier expression. Ears set well. Good length to neck running into withers & well set back shoulder blades. She has a slight tendency to stand with her feet turned in, but moves straight coming towards. Excellent body for age, topline & tail bang on, & she carries herself with an air of quality. 2 Dolmans Bisquit V.d. Bismarckquelle A good puppy also, Ears set a wee bit low maybe. Has a good firm body, OK in rear. Nice length of stride going round. Too much ticking in coat. 3 Hughes & McKennas Belfox Ximi JB (1) 1 Hannars Borovale Jazzmin Another beauty! Excellent size & proportions of height to length. Lovely head & eyes. Good neck & front, but she does tend to move too wide coming towards. Short coupled, super behind, She does take half the length of the ring to get into a proper stride, but I thought a really promising junior of lovely quality. She is Ok for age but can still deepen in chest a little more. PGB (1) 1 Ketley & Gashs Ultra Douce Du Manoir Saint Adrien Avec Enjakay Short steps in front going round, pleasing size, short strong back, powerful quarters & nicely conditioned all through. Good head & temperament. Enough bone for size, and tidy feet. LB (2) 1 Brookes Zetamaz Drama Queen two neat bitches, Winner maybe had a little more scope than second. She does have a slight dip in her back, when I went over her, but pulls herself together going round, so it was not so obvious. Sound as they come, with an attractive lengthy head & well placed eyes, Good close coat, clear of ticking 2 Griffiths Yoxella Whole Lotta Rosie Nicely made & excellent size, Her head is quite beautiful & ears set just right. I thought a touch more length of leg would improve her balance, & she does short step a touch. Excellent condition & she shows so well. OB (2) 1 Wilbergs Ch Kanix Rosemarie CC BOB Almost prefect for me! Just a bit weak in foreface, otherwise a treasure. Excellent type, proportions, height & length, Strong yet still feminine. Good body & ribbing, tail set on just right. Super front & shoulder set, and I actually felt a slight forechest which was amazing, for the breed! Excellent true mover, & covers the ground easily with some panache! 2 Richardsons Lizoni Hoochie Coochie Also an attractive bitch, perfect eyes and a strongly made head. A little straighter in shoulder than winner, otherwise close up. A touch heavy in body on the day maybe. Straight, true mover. VB (1) 1 Hughes Forgevale Quadrille B Vet. Good type and quality, this older girl was showing her young handler how she could move! A bit too much colour for me, but otherwise a really honest sort in lovely condition, & a credit to her owner, Zena Thorn Andrews
