FOX SMOOTH LEEDS 25 Judge: Mrs S Connell FOX SMOOTH JUDGE LEEDS 25 PGD (1/0) 1 Omar vom Granitfelsen (Nitka) – A well made dog of the correct size who has ample bone and substance without appearing overdone. His head is of a good length but a tad heavy in skull. He has a well angulated forehand, a level topline and nicely angled quarters. His ribs are well sprung and are carried well back, but I would prefer him shorter coupled for optimum balance. His correctly textured jacket and furnishings were well presented and he moved true both out and back. RCC OD (1/0) 1 Paperman Arteon (Schoneberg) – This dog has a good head as it is flat, clean and a good length. His ears are correctly positioned and his dark expressive eyes attribute to his characteristic expression. Moderate length of neck into a well angulated front assembly, that mirrors his correctly angulated quarters. He holds a level topline, a good tail set and his well sprung ribs extend back to a short loin. He moved true both out and back and was presented in immaculate order. CC & BOB. PB (1/0) 1 Ivally Maria girl (Karov) – Pretty puppy who has a lot of desirable qualities. She has a typical head for proportions and a good expression. She is clean over the front with shoulders set at the correct angle, a level topline and a good tail set. Her quarters are correctly angulated and she was turned out in good condition. She moved soundly both ways. BPIB JB (1/0) 1 Westpenn sweet little angel (Spraggs) – This bitch portrays a balanced silhouette, but I would prefer more of her all over. Her expression and head proportions are good and she has enough neck into a well angled forehand. She was presented in lovely condition and moved true out and back. PGB (1/0) 1 Cunnings yellow submarine (Karov) – A well balanced bitch who is the correct size with good bone and substance. Her skull is flat, clean and good for length and she uses her well placed ears. Her front assembly is good and she holds a level and firm topline with a good tail set. Her quarters were well angulated and developed in muscle tone and she was turned out in good order. She moved true both ways. RCC LB (2/0) 1 Gaelic Rose (Harrison) – This is an honest sort of bitch who has good bone and substance, nicely angulated front and quarters, a level topline and a good tail set. She was presented in good condition and moved true both ways. Her ears and eyes are of the desired shape and size and correctly positioned but her expression is impeded by her head proportions. I would prefer a cleaner skull and more length to her head to complete the picture. 2 Knowlelion queen bee (Pearce, Hughes & Sinclair) – This bitch is a smaller and finer type than the winner. Her head is clean and she has dark eyes of the desired shape and size. She had a tendency to fly her small ears which affected her expression. She has a firm and level topline and well turned quarters and was presented in good condition. She moved soundly both ways. I preferred the size and balance of the winner. OB (1/0) 1 Monaline Emma at Penparc (Allen) – This bitch is a correct size with good bone and substance and portrays a balanced outline. Her lovely head is flat, clean, good for length with correctly placed eyes and ears of the desired shape and size culminating in a copybook expression. Her neck is of a moderate length, her front and rear angles are spot on and she holds a firm and level topline and a good tail set. She was presented in super condition, however it is on the move that she commands your attention as she is true in front and rear with good footfall when viewed from side profile.
