FOX SMOOTH LEEDS 11 Judge: Mrs Elaine Baldwin FOX SMOOTH JUDGE LEEDS 11 Smooth Fox Terriers 1 Laws’ Bonfire Bow Tie at Sufredon, nice size with good long head, nice eye, good ear carriage, nice long neck into well laid shoulders, short back with tail on top, nice bone & feet, moved well, very promising; 2 Broom’s Roxway Euonymus, lovely head & eye. Very promising puppy who just needs to mature. So sound, everything is there when he settles; 3 Crouch’s Glendraterra Sancho Panza among Oaxaca. JD (2) 1 Hannar’s Borrowvale Brigadier, nice stylish dog with good outline, nice flat skull, good neck, short back, strong quarters, good bone & feet, moved well; 2 Falkous’ Falkmeres First Edition, short backed dog who was not helping handler, needs to settle. PGD (2) 1 Clements’ Cleveland Jack, nice size, short back. Could be finer in head & front. Moved OK; 2 Clark’s Chipstead Cello, little longer cast than 1 but of similar type, moved OK. LD (3) 1 Turner’s Rotur Celtic Dream, very masculine dog of excellent type, good length of head, strong foreface, big ribbed body, level topline, well boned legs & nice round feet, correct size & has powerful shapely hindquarters, long neck into good shoulders giving him good free movement. CC; 2 Brooks’ Mischief in Disguise for Zetamaz, good head, neck & body, nice bone & feet moved soundly. OD (6) 1 Lewis’ Dobelands Silent Danger, all white bodied dog of lovely outline, excellent head & expression, good reach of neck, level topline, moved OK, in lovely condition. RCC; 2 Brooks’ Dobelands Touch Of Frost at Zetamaz, slightly longer cast than 1 but still a nice dog, nice head, neck & shoulders, good quarters, nice bone & feet, moved out well; 3 Graffin’s Roxway Brave Edge at Leconridge. PB (6) 1 Crouch’s Glendraterra Lady Gaga among Oaxaca, outstanding puppy with wonderful body for age, lovely head & expression, good reach of neck, short coupled, good quarters, good bone, legs & feet, moved & showed well. BP; 2 Darby’s Dobelands Candy Stripes of Classicway, very much on the lines of 1, just not as compact or as good in shoulder; 3 Broom’s Roxway Enchante. JB (2) 1 Brookes’ Dobelands Giggle And Gossip at Zetamaz, nice headed bitch with good shoulders, nice strong quarters, good bend of stifle, moves well. Tends to lose topline when standing; 2 Clements’ Borovale Cleveland Cleo, good coated bitch with nice bone, legs & feet. Would like darker eye. PGB (1) 1 Harrison’s Adohr Tutie Frutie, correct size, good head, dark eye, nice neck & shoulders, good body, moved OK. LB (4) 1 Hannar’s Ambers Ginger Spice at Borovale, lovely bitch with best of shoulders, nice head & expression, dark eye, good neck, short back, tail on top with plenty behind, nice low hocks, moved well; 2 Harrison’s Adohr Treasure Trove, nice size, correct coat, good head, smart enough, moved OK. OB (5) 1 Horspool’s Ch Rotur Celtic Desire of Adaires, feminine & elegant, long lean head, flat skull, good ear placement, correct expression, good reach of neck, correct shoulder placement, nice spring of rib, short coupled strong quarters, nice bend of stifle, good bone & feet, moves & shows well making lovely picture. CC & BOB. Learnt later that she is litter sister to Celtic Dream; 2 Laws’ Sufredon Soul Mate, another lovely bitch who pushed 1 all the way, lovely head, neck & shoulders, short back & good quarters, her day must come.
