FOX SMOOTH EAST F ENGLAND 18 Judge(s): MAX KING FOX SMOOTH JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 18 Fox Terrier (Smooth) The condition of the ring and length of grass meant that the ground was not conducive for accurate assessment of movement, but most exhibits coped well and managed the situation. Puppy D (3.1) 1. Brookes’ Zetamaz Carbon Copy. Very attractive and eye catching youngster with lots of potential. I liked overall size and balance, good head with dark eye, very neat outline, body developing well, moved with purpose and confidence. Res Dog Cc and Best Puppy. 2. Davies & Watson’s Mosvalley Brian May. Head of good proportions, but expressed spoiled by flying ears to the side, strong rear quarters developing, not really settling on the move. PGD (1) 1. Moore’s Wild Thing at Eskwyre. Top size and all male, nice shaped head, good neck and shoulders, liked rear angulation and tail set. LD (3.1) 1. Stahle & Nichols’ Chantalle’s Dennis The Menace. Won class on better overall balance, nice head and ears, clean straight front, well bodied, not settling on the move. 2. Kettle’s Equifox Perfect Pickle. Longer cast than 1, and not using ears to advantage, a little straight in stifle, movement was affected by conditions. OD (2) 1. Smith, Gable & Schoneberg’s Ch/Am Ch Absolute Signature. Standing looked the picture and demanded attention, compact and balanced, liked overall size, nice head proportions, well carried ears, straight front, short level back, well angulated hindquarters which produced good driving movement. Dog CC and BOB. 2. Brookes’ Zetamaz Gerard Depardieu. Larger sort all over, but very solid and masculine in all aspects. VD (1) 1. Goodley’s Roxway Euonymus. 7.1/2 yrs old, in good condition, topline could be firmer, moved a little narrow in front and rear. PB (2) 1. Kettle’s Foxindean Prettiest Star. Nice overall shape and profile and held shape well on the move although not always helping handler, well bodied, needs to find correct stance on the table to show true rear angulation. 2. Moore’s Mosvalley Spread your Wings at Fincham. Longer cast than 1 and not helping herself by standing wide in front and flying ears to the side, movement a little erratic as not setting and uncomfortable with ground conditions. PGB (4.2) 1. Ketley & Gash’s Enjaykay Secret Love. Nice feminine appearance and of correct size, good head, eye and ears, strong neck, clean front, nice body shape with well set tail, moved OK. 2. Arustamyan’s Lorecon Time’s Arrow. A little leggy in appearance, flying ears to the side, longer cast than 1 and a little lethargic on the move. LB (2) 1. Hannar’s Borovale Georgia. Nice size and balance, good head and ear set, liked front construction, topline could be firmer, well bodied, moved soundly. 2. Goodley’s Glendraterra Glad Rags. Heavier type than 1, another not using ears to advantage deep chest, tail a little low set, well muscled rear quarters. OB (3) 1. Thornton & Bebbington’s Glendraterra Liberty Belle. Rather a mixed performance, at times she put it all in and looked a picture and other times seemed that she did not want to be there or cooperate with handler, but what I saw when she was giving 100% was good, nice overall type, very good head and ears, clean cut front, deep chest, short body, with plenty of substance behind the tail, when settled moved ok. Bitch CC. 2. Davies’s L’Magali Du Manoir Saint Adrien of Mosvalley. Attractive bitch and well balanced throughout, liked head and expression, strong neck, well made body, not coping well on the move. Res Bitch CC.
