FOX SMOOTH JUDGE BORDER UNION 22

PD (1)

1 Nichols’ Chantalle’s Ink Spot NAF. Stood alone but a pleasing youngster of good make and shape. Dark expressive eye, well made front assembly, short backed with a level topline. Steady on the move.

JD (2)

1 Vickers & Dams’ Tamedale Endeavour. Impressed with this youngster who I am sure will have a bright future. Good bone and strength throughout. Best of heads, small bright eyes and well set ears. Stands on good legs and feet and well developed hindquarters. Moved well, BPD.

2 Brookes’ Zetamaz I’m Your Man. Well made throughout. Good size and was on his toes at all times. Typical in head with a good eye and expression. Very clean over his neck and shoulders. Pleasing body, well set on tail and a good bend of stifle. Sound on the move.

LD (2)

1 Barney & Dolman’s Icepeak V D Bismarckquelle To Kanix (Imp Deu). Upstanding dog, very impressive and is so well balanced throughout. Pleasing headpiece, good depth of chest and a firm topline that he holds on the move. Great strength of quarters and the soundest of movers.

2 Davison’s Agria Latin Lover With Belfox (Imp Hun). Typey dog who presents a pleasing outlook. Good dark eye and brightest of expressions. Pleasing body and well rounded hindquarters. Moved well but not the positive attitude of the winner on the day.

OD (6, 2)

1 Dams’ Tamedale Victory. Headed a pleasing class. Handled well on the table and is built on clean and flowing lines. Good lean head, pleasing length and a small eye with the best of expressions. Pleasing reach of neck set in well placed shoulders. Short backed, well set on tail and nicely muscled quarters and well let down hocks. Sound fore and aft, CC.

2 McLaughlan’s Nisyros Crossfire At Azrams. Liked him for his size and overall balance and presented a very typical outlook both stood and on the move. Pleasing head and eye. Best of legs and feet, firm body and good rear assembly. Presented on the day in good coat. Positive on the move. Res CC.

3 Brookes’ Zetamaz Carbon Copy JW ShCM ShCEx OSW.

VD (1)

1 Brookes’ Ch Zetamaz Gerard Depardieu JW ShCM ShCEx VW. Well built throughout, good size and impressed at all times. Best of heads, good dark eye and bright expression. Straight front, good layback of shoulder and pleasing depth of chest. Moved soundly, BV. Pleased to hear he headed the Veteran Terrier Group later in the day.

PB (2, 1)

1 Hannar’s Bokma Kirie At Borovale NAF. Stood alone but a very worthy winner. Feminine throughout but has the required bone and strength to complete the picture. Typical in head with small neat ears. Pleasing front assembly, good topline and tailset. Moved well, BP and saw her take G3 in the Terrier Puppy Group, well done.

JB (2, 1)

1 Griffiths’ Yoxella Well In Touch. Very promising young lady of good size and is so well made. Clean cut head of good length, darkest of eyes and a keen expression. Very clean over her neck and shoulders. Good body shape with a pleasing spring of rib and well rounded hindquarters. Sound on the move, Res CC. Gave her the AV Junior Stakes later in the day in strong competition.

GB (3, 1)

1 Robertson & McKnight’s Nisyros Hot Diamond At Azrams. Pleasing size and presents a very typical outlook. Good head shape, strong muscular neck and stands on good legs and feet. Short backed, good strength of loin and a pleasing bend of stifle. Once she got in her stride moved well.

2 Davison’s Tynefox La Vida Loca. Well made sort of overall good make and shape. Typical in head with a small dark eye and bright expression. Firm well developed body, pleasing topline that she holds on the move and good width of quarters. Just a little untidy in her front movement.

PGB (2)

1 Griffiths & Weiss’s Yoxella Whoa Black Betty. Balanced bitch with a clean and typical outline both stood and on the move. Best of heads, good length and small neat ears. Stands on good legs and feet, pleasing depth of chest, level topline and strong well muscled hindquarters. Sound both fore and aft.

2 Moore’s Zetamaz Chasing Rainbows At Fincham. Likeable type of good size and of overall pleasing confirmation. Good head, eye and expression. Clean over her neck and shoulders, short backed and well made quarters. Moved well but not the positive action of the winner.

LB (3)

1 Hannar’s Borovale Amber. Impressive throughout and one I seriously considered for top honours on the day. Liked her size and clean cut appearance and is very well balanced throughout. Lovely head with a very typical outlook. Scores in front assembly. Strong firm body, good tailset and carriage and the best of hindquarters. Very sound positive mover.

2 Anderson & Watt’s Nisyros Girl Power. Very typey bitch who is well made throughout. Pleasing head, small expressive eyes and the keenest of expressions. Strong muscular neck set in well placed shoulders, well ribbed and nicely angulated quarters. Moved well but couldn’t match the winners verve on the day.

3 Martin’s Tamedale Fenella.

OB (2, 1)

1 Vickers & Dam’s Jodean Jitterbug At Tamedale. Stunning bitch out of the top draw. In my opinion she fits the standard so well with that appearance of a ‘short backed hunter, covering a lot of ground.’ Loved her head, eye and expression. Best of legs and feet. Excellent reach of neck, good layback of shoulder, short backed, good tailset with plenty behind. Soundest of movers with good reach and drive, CC & BOB. Took G4 in a strong competitive Terrier Group.

VB (1)

1 Glass’ Nisyros Out Of Control ShCEx. Well made throughout, good size and has kept a clean and balanced outline both stacked and on the move. Typical in head, small dark eye and the neatest of ears. Firm body, good depth and pleasing hindquarters. Sound on the move.
