BLACKPOOL CHAMPIONSHIP 21/06/26
SMOOTH FOX TERRIERS: Judge – Mr. J.R. Bebbington.
Having entered this show, I was looking forward to exhibiting under the respected all rounder Albert Wight. Sadly, Albert was taken ill and has had some time in hospital. I send my best wishes to him for a speedy recovery. The Secretary then asked if I could take his place which I accepted. To those exhibitors who chose not to exhibit, that is their choice. However, under a breed specialist, I would have thought that some may have more respect for the breed especially its’ vulnerability and support the show. Who knows? You may have won! To those who did, thank you for your support.
To my excellent stewards, Elizabet Caminade – Lavault and Grant Hughes, thank you.
PD (1,1)
JD (3,0):
1. Craig’s Lorecon Improbable.
B/W, split head, white body. Very nice overall shape. Good head with nice eye. Sufficient chiselling. Neat ears. Nice neck into well placed shoulders. Sound in movement. Just needs to body up to complete the picture. To be critical would prefer a little more bone.
2 Brookes’ Zetamaz Candy Man.
Black head, white body. A nice type with good body shape. Good head with nice eye and ears. Fair shoulders. Good bone and feet. Fair movement. He was not too happy today, no doubt due to the heat.
3. Kettle’s Foxindean Xavier.
