Well bodied and ribs rounded and well sprung all covered in a correctly presented and conditioned harsh Pepper top coat and soft linty undercoat. Short well boned fore legs set nicely apart. His hindlegs being a little longer and again set slightly wide apart. Happy tail action and mover with a good side stride and powerful rear action for one so young. BPD. 1 Simpsons’ Dandiroyal Dream Catcher Looked good on the stance being of nice height with good length. At 23 months has developed well having a large strong head, broad skull covered in a large well presented silky soft white topknot, slightly narrowing to his large open dark eyes, and fore face with strong jaw and teeth. Muscular strong neck into well laid back shoulders well angled to upper arm, deep chest with good width. I felt his backline although of good length, flattened out needing more work and rise over the loin. Body of good weight with well rounded and sprung back rib cage, nicely coated in harsh pepper jacket with soft undercoat lovely presentation. Muscular hindquarters with good return of stifle. Well boned legs and rounded feet. Very sound powerful mover with good forward reach and drive from the rear. Well carried thick rooted tail with nice feathering. 1 Pooles’ Hawkesmill Merlon A very impressive workmanlike terrier who appeared of a good size and a nice length, on going over he was well developed and bodied with good muscle tone. His mustard coat presentation was good and the texture was harsh of good length with a soft linty undercoat. Very sound, a free mover with good forward reach and strong powerful rear. 1 Butchers’ Ch. Mishahda Mischief Managed A stunning looker on the stance who looked very handsome and impressed in his lovely Mustard coat. On the table, he felt so correct firstly being of a good height and with the length to his long strong body, covered in a harsh textured coat of good length with a good soft linty undercoat. Masculine strong head covered in a beautiful white silky top knot, nice skull with well positioned ears nicely tipped. Correct domed forehead narrowing to his large dark brown open eyes set well apart, strong muzzle, big black nose. Head held well on strong neck set into laid back shoulders nicely angulated with width and depth to chest, a correct backline with a rise over his loin, strong muscular hindquarters with a well rooted and feathered tail. Super rear angles with a good return to his stifle and let down hocks. Short correctly built and balanced legs and round tight feet. A stylish mover showing his free smooth action with reach to the fore and power to the rear. DCC BOS I had one worry that the coat was a little over trimmed, my decision for BOB going to the bitch. 2 Milton & Kurgs’ Ch. Barton Dandies Charles Darney (Imp Esp) A good looking example, on the stance being of a correct height and length. On the table, he was nice to go over, with a super nature and happy temperament. Lovely strong large head with a nice white silky soft top knot, nice dome narrowing down to big open dark eyes set well apart. Strong muzzle jaw, black nose. Having a lovely body with depth and substance and being well ribbed back with a strong loin with slight tuck. Not as well angulated as my winner but with enough depth and width to his chest. Correct weasely backline to strong hindquarters. Straight short legs and tight round feet. Correct harsh texture mustard coat very well presented, although I would have liked his legs furnishings to have been better trimmed. Stylish mover and very sound having good stride and powerful rear. RCC. 1 Miltons’ Ch. Very attractive well built head with nice silky creamy white topknot, a good skull and correct stop and narrowing to her muzzle, well held and placed ear. Large set apart alert dark brown eyes. Nice size and shape just a little shorter in the back than my winner, having a correct weazley back with a nice tail set and carriage. Lovely depth and substance to the body covered in a nice mustard jacket with correct undercoat. Short well boned legs strong hindquarters. Unfortunately not wanting to walk well makes it difficult to judge although once into a stride did look as if she could be sound. 1 Diddimont I Have A Dream. 1 Deacons’ Cassencarrie The Last Word Of a lovely breed type as you come to expect from this well known kennel. Lovely look of good height and length on the stance. A stunning head with correct silky white top knot, a strong feminine head broad in skull nice stop and well set apart large dark brown eyes, well set and placed ears with nice feathery tassel. Slight arching to neck into well set shoulders and correct back of which I would have liked more rise and fall. Well set and rooted tail nicely feathered. Mustard coloured double jacket correct hard outer texture which was presented well, I just would have liked a little more length to the body coat. Lovely substance and depth to the body with ribs well sprung back, depth to chest and strong hind quarters. Short well boned legs and rounded feet. Very sound free and easy mover with a powerful rear action. 2 Bells’ Cofgodas Beurre D’avalon very attractive bitch with a sweet expression to a well constructed head, well shaped silky soft white top knot, broad skull narrowing down, stop, past her cheeks to well shaped muzzle. Elbows in on straight well boned short legs with round feet, a very sound free mover with lovely action. 2 Frays’ Woodfud Winters Dream Slightly younger bitch but not with the same build and balance as my winner. Much taller, her well boned fore legs, spoiling her balance and back length which needed a more weazerly in look. Strongly built head excellent silky top knot on a good skull, well hung ears, bright attractive look to her dark well set apart eyes, good stop, to correct strong muzzle, black nose. Well, arched neck into shoulders but lacking the front angle and depth of my winner. Body covered in a dark pepper jacket very well presented of the correct length. Muscular hind with good stifle and long hocks moved out soundly having good reach and powerful drive. 1 Henrys’ Trinzy Glamour N’ Grace a very attractive breed standard built nearly 4 years old with a lovely outline that covers the ground well on the stance. Feminine strongly built head, broad skull with a creamy white top knot, ears set a little too high, nice stop separating kind alert well set apart dark brown eyes, all narrowing into a balanced strong muzzle with a black nose. Slightly arched neck into well laid shoulders with slight dip behind and rise over her loin, to her well rooted tail set on and carried well. Enough angulation front and rear. Well bodied and ribbed back with enough substance. Well presented and conditioned mustard coat with a good undercoat. Short fine-boned legs, I would have liked more strength of bone. Moves out very well just a little close at foot. 1 Sleights’ Ch. Danchester’s Can You Hear Me Roar For Bonnybeck This was my star of the day who certainly shone brightly for me and if I could hear her roar well she certainly caught my attention. This is one beautiful bitch fitting the breed standard correctly. Large strong feminine head correctly shaping to her strong muzzle with a big black nose. A broad skull with creamy white well presented top knot, nice dome, well set on and hung thin ears with feathery tassels, good stop, large open dark brown eyes set well apart. Correct flexible and weazerly backline of good length, well rooted and feathered tail. Beautiful substance and weight with ribs sprung back into a short strong loin with slight tuck up. A harsh textured mustard outer coat with a soft linty undercoat, correctly presented and trimmed. Muscular hindquarters with good return of stifle and let down hocks. Short well boned, a stylish mover with free reach and powerful sound rear drive. BCC and BOB. 2 Deacons’ Dandiroyal Clementina is another lovely bitch who fits the standard but today just felt that at 16 months she lacked the maturity and overall development of my winner, on the stack and on the table she showed a shorter length of back or having as correct in the backline. An attractive strongly developed head with a broad skull and well presented creamy white top knot. Head narrowing to a strongly made muzzle. Well set on and hung thin ears with tassel ends. Correct stop. Sweet expression to large open brown eyes. Proud head carriage on an arching of neck to well laid back shoulders well angled to upper arm and depth and width to chest. Well bodied and sprung ribs well back into a short loin. Hindquarters well muscled would like more return of stifle, short hocks. Short strong well boned legs and compact feet, moved out correctly and soundly, tail carried well. 3 Allenby’s Ch. Diddimont Luna Wuffgood JW
