JD (2) 1 Kurg’s Hawkesmill Jefferson at Etsill, pepper of pleasing type & balance, very good head & expression, correct neck, topline, tail carriage, angulation. Moved well. Presented in good order; 2 Eves’ German Dandies’ Tom Jones of Sylvanken, mustard with very good head, expression, coat, soundly constructed. Moved accordingly. Not quite turn of stifle of 1. PGD (0). LD (5,2a) 1 Youngs’ Inzievar The Goldsmith, quality mustard with very pleasing head & expression, correct neck, topline, tail carriage, coat & angulation. Moved well. RBD; 2 Keevil-Bullock & Keevil’s Yazga Love The One You’re With, pepper who head qualities justified this place. Lacked furnishings but overall correctly constructed & balanced. Moving soundly; 3 Jacka-Slater’s Pennywave Lone Ranger. OD (2,1) 1 Tinsley’s German Dandies Terence Hill at Cloverwood, presented immaculately, this mustard was outstanding. Head & expression of quality, correct in neck, body shape, tail carriage, coat, angulation & articulation which enabled him to move with precision & scope. BD & BOB. V (0). GCD (0). PB (2) 1 Harcourt-Morris’ Dainty Dandies Royal Dutch Emma, very typy mustard with pleasing head & expression, good neck, topline, tail carriage, coat, moved soundly. BP; 2 Powis & Wallen’s Siwop Black Baccara Rose, pepper, all round soundly constructed with good coat & pleasing headpiece. Topline not so positive. JB (5) Quality class. 1 Milton’s Hawkesmill Jenny for Wilmit, I think long strong & flexible goes well with her overall appearance. I was extremely taken with her quality head & expression, neck, topline, tail carriage, coat, angulation, articulation & resulting positive movement of this pepper. BB; 2 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Wish Upon A Star, pepper who excelled in head with correctly balanced overall appearance & sound construction, presented in good order. Had some doubts about me when coming back. Would like more length; 3 Keevil-Bullock & Keevil’s Yazga Lady Of The Island. PGB (3,1) 1 Youngs’ Dentgate Opal, overall nice type & balance with good angulation, topline, tail carriage, coat, moved well. Good head & expression. Ears could be lower on this pepper; 2 Keevil-Bullock & Keevil’s Yazga Turbulent Indigo, pepper with typical head & expression. Would like more dome. Pleasing general appearance with good shape, tail carriage & movement. LB (2,1) 1 Russell’s Hawkesmill Ishbelle, pepper, stood alone but was all quality. Very good head & expression, liked her neck, topline, body length, tail carriage, coat, angulation & movement. RBB. OB (2) 1 Kurg’s Etsill Skara Brae, pepper whose more correct head qualities gave her the nod. Correct general appearance, good neck, topline, tail carriage, angulation & coat. Moved soundly; 2 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Drama Queen, glamorous head furnishings but would like more dome. Pleased in overall general appearance & movement. P J GREENWAY |
