DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE SCOTTISH BREEDS 25

JD (1)

1 Cruden & Kaye. Puddockswell Knuckles Mcginty for Shamsky. I was very impressed with this young dog who was so well handled by his young handler. Strongly made head with wide apart large expressive eye. Strong muzzle. Broad skull with well domed forehead. Well placed ears. Excellent bite with strong teeth. Muscular neck well set into shoulders which were well laid back. Long body with well sprung ribs with correct arch over loin. Correct double coat. Moved steadily. Pushed so hard for the breed but was less cooperative on the move than the BOB. BD. BJ.

PGD (5,1)

1 Cundall. Puddockswell What The Dickens of Bleaklee. Smart dog with a pleasing head shape. Good strength of muzzle. Correct bite. Pleasing coat. Correct topline. Good bone, legs and feet. Moved well when settled.

2 Dolby. Redgreet Coldstream Guards into Pondfrox. Smaller than 1 and finer in type. Typy head. Good angulations. Moved steadily.

3 Nathan & Cox-Purcell. Puddockswell Screaming J Hawkins.

OD (4,1)

1 Fox. Puddockswell Hoodwink. Won this class on body shape as he was well proportioned with a good head and expression, good angulations and moved out well. I would however prefer a slightly better bite. RBD.

2 Cox-Purcell & Fox. Mydan’d Look What I Found at Puddockswell. Lovely head, well placed ears and large dark hazel eyes set wide apart. Good coat texture. Typical rise over loin. Moved steadily.

3 Cruden & Kaye. Dryfevalley Midnight Blue.

Special Beginners Dog (1,0)

1 Giannetti. Puddockswell Cashelblue. Strongly made head with good strength of muzzle. Forehead well domed. Dark round eye. Well sprung ribs. Well let down hocks. Moved freely. BSB.

JB (2,1)

1 Fox-Purcell, Fox & Miller. Puddockswell Maris Piper. Such a super, affectionate temperament. Just 12 months. Excellent bite. Large, dark, expressive eye. Well placed ears. Well developed chest. Stifles ambulated and hocks well let down. Weatherproof coat. Moved well.

PGB (3,2)

1 Fox. Puddockswell Queen of Scots. Distinctive head with large expressive eyes. Scissor bite. Pendulous ears. Weaselly body. Muscular neck well set into shoulders. Good spring of ribs. Correct front and feet. Good tail carriage. Strong and free mover. Correct double coat. BB. BOB.

2 Cundall. Puddockswell Copperfield of Bleaklee. Super temperament. Very good coat. Pleasing head and body shape. Preferred front movement of 1.

OB (5,2)

1 Miller. Dryfevalley Bumble Bee. Typy head and eye. Correct bite. Weatherproof coat. Body long and strong with rise over loin. Well developed thighs and well angulated stifles. Would prefer a better spring of rib. Sound. RBB.

2 Cundall. Diddimont Bella Trix of Bleaklee. A lot to like about this bitch as she was a good type with sound, typical movement. Just lacked the enthusiasm of 1 on the day.

3 Garven. Clover wood Magic Minnie.
