DANDIE DINMONT SCOTTISH BREEDS 24 Judge: Mrs Sonia Connell (Sonorra) Thank you to the committee for their invitation, my stewards who managed the ring efficiently and to the exhibitors for the lovely entry of dogs who were all exhibited in super condition with lovely temperaments. 1 Henry, Dashing Top Hat N Tails At Tymeirz, Lovely puppy for construction and balance. His head is typical with the correct ratio of foreface to skull and a lovely expression attributed by his correctly placed and shaped eyes. He has a super front assembly that mirrors his quarter angles and he holds a super topline standing and moving. He was presented in the condition we expect from this talented handler, and he moved true both ways. BPIB, Reserve Best Dog and delighted to be later informed he went on to win RBPIS. 2 Dolby, Redgreet coldstream guards into Pondfrox. Decent head and expression and he has a typical outline. His quarters are nicely angulated and he moved true going away. 3 Bell, Cloverwood Total Legend. 1 Nathan & Cox-Purcell, Puddockswell Screaming J Hawkins. Balanced dog who portrays a typical outline. He has a good head and expression, a correctly angulated front assembly and carries a correct topline. He was presented in good order and moved true in front. 2 Cox-Purcell & Miller, Puddockswell Jelly Roll Morton. A bigger dog that I would prefer shorter coupled for correct balance. Decent head and expression and his shoulders are set well back. Covered the ground from side profile. 1 Henry, Ch Tymeirz Benibouy. This dog is no stranger to me as I awarded him Terrier Puppy group 3 at The National Championship show 2023. He is so well balanced, portraying a typical silhouette and was presented in super condition. His head is correct in shape and size with large eyes correctly placed to attribute to a characteristic expression. He has a good front and rear assembly and holds the desired top line when moving true both ways with correct footfall when viewed from side profile. BOB. 2 Saville & Cox-Punell, Puddockswell lead belly. Decent head and expression, correctly angulated front assembly, moved true going away. 1 Miller, Dryfevalley Sassy Lassie. 7 month old pretty puppy who was in between coat. Her head is balanced and she has a typical expression. Her shoulders are set well back and she has a good length and return of upper arm framing her developing brisket. She carries a correct top line and moved true going away. She still needs to develop and tighten in front as you would expect at this age. 1 Miller, Dryfevalley Bumble Bee. Promising 8 month old puppy who is balanced and portrays a typical outline. Nice head and expression with enough neck into a good forehand, correct topline and well angulated quarters. She was presented in lovely condition and moved soundly both ways. 2 Saville & Cox-Purcell, Puddockswell Daphne Du Maurier. Nice head and expression, enough neck into a good forehand, correct topline and well developed quarters. Moved soundly going away. 1 Henry, Ch Trinzy Hair N Graces. Beautiful bitch who was presented to the minute as were all the dogs exhibited by this owner. Her head is balanced with the desired ratio of foreface to skull. Her front and rear quarters are correctly angulated and she holds a typical top line standing and moving. She moved true both ways and covered the ground effortlessly when viewed from side profile. 2 Cavanagh, Puddockswell my darling clementine cum Magellancia. A nice type for size, construction and balance. Her head and expression is typical and she has enough neck into a good front assembly, Her quarter angles are good and she holds a correct top line. She was a tad short of coat but what she did have was of a good texture. She moved true both ways. 3 Garven, Cloverwood Magic Minnie. |
