DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE SCOTTISH BREEDS 22

PD/B (2)

1 Kurg’s Etsill Hannabreck. Super youngster who is so well put together for her age. Best of heads, good width of skull, lovely dark eye and well placed ears. Excellent front assembly with good depth of chest. Pleasing body shape, good length and correct topline and tailset. Best of hindquarters, good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Such a sound and positive mover, BP & Res.BB. Pleased to see her go Res.BPIS.

2 Drake & Kurg’s Etsill Mykillkvi with Tollcross. Another lovely puppy who I see is litter brother to the winner and has many of his siblings positive attributes. Balanced head with good strength and round well set eyes and the brightest of expressions. Strong muscular neck set in well placed shoulders. Well developed body with a pleasing spring of rib. Good width of quarters. Moved well both fore and aft, Res.BD.

PGD/B (6,2)

1 Saville & Cox-Purcell’s Puddockswell Lead Belly at Darcellie. Balanced dog of overall good make and shape and with good strength and substance throughout. Pleasing head, eye and expression. Excellent depth of chest and well sprung ribs. Good width of thigh and well bent stifles. Sound on the move.

2 Miller & Cox-Purcell’s Mydan’d Thackery Binx of Puddockswell ( IMP IKC ) Another typey sort of similar outlook to the first placed dog but just preferred the head of the winner. Good strength of body, good length but a tad straight over the loin. Well muscled hindquarters. Moved well but not such a positive stride as the winner.

3 King’s Puddockswell Lady’s Day at Kunraoi.

OD/B (7,1)

1 Kurg’s Etsill Selchie. A very sound and honest bitch who put on a very polished performance on the day. Typical in head with pleasing strength and shape, well set eyes with a responsive and brightest of outlooks. Best of fronts standing on good legs and feet. Well developed body, lovely depth of chest and well sprung ribs. Correct rise and slope of croup, well set tail and nicely rounded quarters with a good bend of stifle. Sound on the move with a very positive stride, BB & BOB.

2 Milton & Kurg’s Ch.Barton Dandies Charles Darnay ( IMP ESP ) Thought he would be my winner when he entered the ring but on the day his mind was not on the job in hand. Excellent make and shape with that long, low and weaselly body the standard asks for. Balanced head with excellent strength but is not overdone in anyway. Lovely eye and expression. Clean muscular neck set in well placed shoulders, straight well boned legs and the best of hindquarters. Presented in first class order, BD.

3 Sleight’s Ch.Danchester’s Can You Hear Me Roar for Bonnybeck (IMP FIN )

SBD/B (1)

1 Cavanagh’s Puddockswell My Darling Clementine cum Magellanica. Pleasing size and presents a typical outlook. Good size and well made throughout. Dark eye and a bright expression. Not in the best of coats on the day. Happy on the move.
