DANDIE DINMONT SCOTTISH BREEDS 13 Judge(s): MR F KANE (HIRONTOWER) Dandie Dinmont Terriers I enjoyed this good entry with a lot of promising puppies so it was a shame that the puppy classes were mixed. V 1 Mosterlada Shooting Star, 7 years mustard of good length & still sound on the move. Good head proportions but skull a little flat. Good eye colour. Not in her best coat & has lost a little of her topline shape now but she has a lot of type. P Close call here. 1 Inzievar Summer Gold, 9 months mustard, lovely body shape & carriage, very good quarters, good head proportions. Can tighten a little in front yet but her head & fineness of ear leather just getting her above her brother; 2 Inzievar Silver And Gold, litter brother, excellent movement & good body shape, very good eyes & expression. I preferred foreface & finer ears of 1 but his movement, topline & super coat had great appeal. I thought highly of him & he won BD in the entry; 3 Deegandan Bede. JD 1 Deegandan Dughall, 16 months, good proportions, low set & with good head proportions, fine ears & good eyes. Tailset & carriage could be better, coat needs to clear. GD 1 Puddockswell Moondance, pepper of good size & shape, carried well on the move. Needs a little more coat. Head of good proportions; 2 Dawsholm Wee Darick, good size but carrying too much weight which took away from topline & front movement. Excellent eyes & temperament, good coat. OD 1 Puddockswell Gilded Imp, 6 years mustard, smaller, low set dog of good proportions. Tail a little high set. Moves well. Feet & front action could be better. RBD. JB 1 Inzievar Sparkling Silver, 8 months, beautifully headed pepper, excellent mover, just shapely & in good coat. Just carrying a little puppy fat at present but great breed type, lovely size. Should have a great future with the other youngsters from this breeder. BP & RBB; 2 Puddockswell Moon Whisper at Dryfevalley, 14 months, lovely size & type, good head proportions & fine leathers, good eyes. Not the rear movement of 1 but I liked her a lot. GB 1 Duneideann Limited Edition, Duneideann Limited Edition, mustard, lovely type, excellent movement, very good head proportions & bone. Just coming into good coat. I would like her just a touch firmer in body condition but excellent quality & pressed hard later; 2 Puddockswell Truly Scrumptious at Dryfevalley, sound mover, good coat. I would prefer her a little stronger in foreface. Preferred topline of 1; 3 Glendandy Twinkling Star. OB Very good class for depth of quality. 1 Duneideann First Edition, lovely pepper, in great form, full of type & her topline a gentle curve without exaggeration. Very good head proportions & good movement, crisp top coat. Her topknot could be clearer but looked the part here. BOB; 2 Inzievar Gold Effect, lovely to go over on the table & full of type but needing a little more confidence on the move & whilst she was very sound just lost the gentleness of topline; 3 Dentgate Sweet Symphony.
