1. Davies’ Dandie Dream Call Me Winner (Sp Imp) Naf. 7 mth old mustard pup who was a comfortable winner in this class. He appealed for type and presented a nicely balanced outline with strong, muscular neck, correct topline, good length to ribcage and rib developing well for age, well-muscled loin and tail of correct set. Attractive head and expression with well domed forehead, super eye, ears set low on skull, correct proportions, strong muzzle and scissor bite. Well made all through and moving freely with particularly good hind action. Carrying tail a tad higher right now but put that down to youthful exuberance. Best Puppy Dog.
2. Butcher’s Mishahda Mischief Managed. 8 mth old mustard who was very well handled here. He too presented a very good outline with strong neck of correct length to balance, characteristic topline, deep brisket, good length to ribcage and tail of correct set. Not quite the skull of winner but he has good proportions, eyes set wide apart and low but could use a little more fill below, ears set well back, strong muzzle and correct dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear but winner scored in front. Moving well in profile but again tail carried a tad higher. Good coat and presentation.

1. Fox & Cox’s Mydan'D Look What I Found at Puddockswell. 12 mth old mustard who I thought such a good type and substantial all through. Masculine head of good proportions but would like a little more dome to skull, ears set well back and low on skull, expressive eyes of correct set, strong muzzle and correct scissor bite. Muscular neck of correct length, pleasing topline but can look a tad exaggerated on the move, well sprung ribs, firm loin and tail good for set and carriage. Moving well in profile and when coming towards but could be firmer behind. Coat of coat texture and well presented.

1. Cox-Purcell & Miller’s Puddockswell Jelly Roll Morton. 2 yr old mustard who won this class with some room to spare. Carrying good bone and substance, he presented a pretty good outline with strong muscular neck, sufficient definition to topline, deep brisket, firm loin and tail of correct set. Pleasing head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions but another where I would like to see more dome to skull. Ears set well back on the skull, lovely expressive eyes, strongly made muzzle and good dentition. He is soundly constructed but could make more of himself as he goes and not using tail.
2. Campbell Black’s Puddockswell Buster Brown. 4 yr old mustard carrying good bone who could have been better presented on the day. Strong, muscular neck, fair topline, good length to ribcage which is well sprung, firm loin and tail of good set. Somewhat narrower in skull than I prefer but pleasing proportions and nice strong muzzle. Standing very wide in front but moves out pretty well on the go around.

1. Webber’s Lilyphanie Great Showman. Two very different dogs challenged here with the winner being this 3 yr old mustard. Muscular neck, long body with ribcage extending well back, pleasing topline, firm loin and tail correct for both set and carriage. Quality head with good breadth of skull, correct proportions, large expressive eyes set low down in the skull, ears set well back, strongly made muzzle and correct scissor bite. Soundly constructed with forelegs set wide apart and firm, muscular rear with well let down hocks. Moving freely on the go around and scoring over 2 on the down and back. Coat of good texture and well presented.
2. Poole’s Hawkesmill Merlon. This 2 yr old mustard is a scopier lad with strong neck of good length, correct topline, deep brisket, well sprung ribs which extend well back, muscular loin and tail of correct set. Nicely proportioned head with broad skull, well domed forehead, expressive eyes placed low down and set wide apart, ears set well back, strong muzzle and scissor bite. Carrying good bone, he stands well in front. Moving well when viewed in profile but could not match fore and aft action of winner. Good coat.

1. Hume’s Danchester's Vote Me to Win (Imp Fin). A class which gave me much to think about and the first three particularly pleased. The eventual winner was this 3 yr old mustard. Happy lad who made the most of himself at all times. All male, he carries good bone and substance and was so good to go over. He presented the outline I was looking for with strong muscular neck of correct length to balance, long body with super topline, deep brisket, excellent ribbing, well-muscled loin and tail just right for set and carriage. Quality head with good proportions, super skull, pendulous ears set well back, the very best of eyes, strongly made muzzle and correct scissor bite. Well constructed all through, standing well in front with chest well let down and firm, muscular hindquarters. Moving freely with nice length of stride and driving well from the rear. Coat of good texture and very well presented. CC.
2. Harcourt-Morris’ Dainty Dandies River Mersey at Lenacourt. 5 yr old pepper who was also good to over given his correct construction. He pleased for overall type and is so good in outline with strong well-muscled neck, good length of body with such a good topline, nice depth to chest, well sprung ribs which extend well back, firm loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Masculine headpiece with correct proportions, lovely skull, ears set well back and low on skull, good eyes but not quite those of winner, strongly made muzzle and scissor bite. Well laid shoulders, chest well let down between the forelegs and firm, well-muscled hindquarters with well let down hocks. Sound, free purposeful action and so very well handled. Coat of excellent texture. RCC.
3. France’s Int Ch/Ger/Cze/Lux Ch Back To My Roots at Luna Caprese with Torbrae (Imp Ger)

1. Youngs’ Inzievar The Goldsmith. 7 yr old mustard. Soundly constructed lad but would just like a little more of him all over. He pleased in outline with muscular neck of correct length to balance, long body with nice topline, deep brisket, ribcage carried well back but could be more rounded, firm loin and tail set and carried correctly. Well proportioned head but could use tad more breadth to skull, ears set well back, expressive eyes set wide apart and low down in the skull and correct scissor bite. Shoulders well laid and firm, muscular hindquarters with well let down hocks. Moving freely with good carriage. Well presented coat of correct texture.

1. Allenby’s Diddimont Luna Wuffgood. 10 mth old mustard pup who was a standout in this class for me. A delight to judge and excelling in all departments. Totally feminine, she presented a beautifully balanced outline with muscular neck which flows smoothly into well laid shoulders, long body with perfect topline for the breed, ribcage of good length and rib developing well for age, firm loin and tail just right for set and carriage. Most attractive head and expression with excellent proportions, broad skull, domed forehead, pendulous ears set well back and low on skull, bright expressive eyes of correct set, strongly made muzzle and scissor bite. Chest well let down between forelegs, round well padded feet and firm, muscular hindquarters with hocks well let down. Sound, free and easy action and so very well handled. RCC and Best Puppy.

Bell’s Reidswire Lady Gaye. 11 mth pepper who pleased for type and is also good in outline with strong neck of correct length to balance, characteristic topline, deep brisket, rib developing well but could extend further back, firm loin and tail of good set. Feminine headpiece with good proportions, skull still to fully develop, ears set well back, pleasing eye but could not match those of winner, strong muzzle and good dentition. Moving well on the go around. Good coat.
3. Karlsen’s Diddimont Ginny Wren at Karezig

1. Allan’s Cloverwood Saffron avec Clairmorin. 3 yr old mustard of fair presentation but under the coat she was good to go over, carrying nice bone, has excellent ribbing and firm, well-muscled loin. Neck of correct length to balance, pleasing topline and tail of correct set. Well proportioned head with nice expression; good breadth of skull, nice eye and ear, strongly made muzzle and correct dentition. Chest well let down between forelegs, shoulders well laid and nicely muscled throughout. Moving well enough in profile but handler needed to pick up the pace a tad. Rear action could be better.

1. Young’s Danchester's Can You Keep A Secret (Imp Fin). 20 mth old mustard who is rather raw but she was the best to go over in this class. Neck of good length to balance, long body with acceptable topline, deep brisket, ribcage of good length but ribbing still to fully develop, firm loin and tail of good set and carriage. Attractive head with broad skull, well domed forehead, pendulous ears set well back, expressive eyes of correct placement, strongly made muzzle of good length to balance head and scissor bite. Moving soundly fore and aft and striding out well when viewed in profile.
2. Cavanagh’s Puddockswell My Darling Clementine cum Magellanica. 2 yr old mustard who appealed for overall type and presented a nicely balanced but I felt she was rather slight all through. Neck of correct length, characteristic topline, deep brisket, well ribbed back, firm loin and tail set and carried correctly. Skull not quite that of winner, but head well proportioned, good eye and ear, strong muzzle and scissor bite. Moving out with good carriage on the go around but front action could be better.
3. Thomas’ Tymeirz Lulu Grace at Cumhath

1. Hume’s Danchester's Could This Be Magic (Imp Fin). Nice class which saw this 20 mth pepper come out on top. She is a lovely type, feminine all through, and presented a most typical outline with strong neck of correct length to balance, good length to body with such a good topline, nice depth to chest, well sprung ribs which extend well back, firm loin and tail of correct set and carriage. Super head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, well domed forehead, ears set well back and low on the skull, full round eyes which are set well apart and low, strong muzzle and scissor bite. Pleasing angles, moving out so well in profile with good carriage and ok fore and aft. Very well handled.
2. Gregg’s Dariant Quelle at Bambusa. 2 yr old mustard. Soundly constructed girl who was so good to go over but presenting a slightly different outline to winner being a tad shorter in body. Quality head of correct proportions, good breadth of skull, well domed forehead, ears of correct set, bright expressive eyes of good placement, strongly made muzzle and correct dentition. Chest well let down between the forelegs, well laid shoulders and firm, muscular rear with well let down hocks. Moving better than winner on the down and back but just preferred outline and tail carriage of 1. Good coat.
3. Sleight’s Danchester's Can You Hear Me Roar for Bonnybeck (Imp Fin)

1. Allenby’s Wilmit Mildred Potter for Diddimont. I really like the first two here. My winner was this 4 yr old mustard. One I have judged previously but now mature and a quality girl through and through. She is so well balanced and presents the characteristic outline of the breed with strong, muscular neck, good length to body with super topline, deep brisket, nice spring of rib with ribcage carried well back, firm loin and tail spot on for set and carriage. Quality head with feminine expression; skull of could breadth, well domed forehead, pendulous ears set on low and well back on the skull, full round eyes of correct placement, strongly made muzzle of correct length to balance head and scissor bite. Good layback of shoulder, chest well let down between the forelegs and well made hindquarters with muscular thighs and hocks well let down. Moving freely with easy stride and reaching forward in front where she scored over second. Good coat and presentation. CC & BOB.
2. France’s Miss Sophie Di Luna Caprese at Torbrae (Imp Ger). 4 yr old mustard and another of top quality. I thought her an excellent type, so very well balanced and a delight to go over. Good length of neck to balance, long body, deep brisket, pleasing topline, excellent ribbing, muscular loin and tail just right for set and carriage. I loved her head and expression; ultra-feminine yet retaining strength; good skull to muzzle proportions, nice breadth to skull, pendulous ears of correct set, the very best of eyes, strong muzzle and good dentition. Chest well let down between the forelegs and well made hindquarters with firm musculature and nice strong hocks. Moving freely both fore and aft, driving well from the rear but just not quite the front extension of winner. Quality coat and presentation.

1. Harcourt-Morris’ SA Dainty Dandies Royal Dutch Emma for Lenacourt. Typey 7 yr old mustard girl who was capably handled here and presented a well balanced outline with super neck, nice length to body with correct topline, first class rib, well-muscled loin and correct set on of tail. Nicely proportioned head with feminine expression; good breadth to skull, ears set on well back, full round eyes of correct placement, plenty of strength to muzzle and scissor bite. Moving well all through with correct tail carriage. Good coat. Best Veteran.

1. Thomas’ Tymeirz Lulu Grace at Cumhath. 3 old mustard girl who has plenty of type but was carrying a tad too much weight on the day which detracted somewhat. Strong neck but shorter than the ideal, pleasing topline, deep brisket, ribcage carried well back, firm loin and very good tail for both set and carriage. Attractive, well proportioned head with good breadth to skull, pendulous ears set well back, full round eyes placed low in skull, strong muzzle and good dentition. Chest well let down between the forelegs and moving out well on the go around. Good coat.
