DANDIE DINMONT SKC MAY 16 Judge: Mr A Norcross (Paynnor) BEST OF BREED : 5095 KERRUSH Mr B & Mrs G Micklam Jack Point DANDY DINMONT JUDGE SKC MAY 16 Dandie Dinmont Terriers PD (1) 1 Drake’s Tollcross Tartan Tavish, pepper. 8 months, masculine head with strong large teeth & correct bite. Expressive eyes, good shape to body & correct rise to loin, when settled moved OK. BPD. JD (1) 1 Miller & Cox-Purcell’s Puddockswel Augustus Magnussen, pepper. Balanced masculine male of good type. Good head & eye, well placed shoulders, well ribbed & good depth of chest, nice arch to well muscled loin, moved out well on well muscled rear. RCC. LD (2,1a) 1 Kurg’s Hawkesmill Jefferson at Etsil, pepper. Very typy, masculine in head with good dark eyes & large teeth. Well laid shoulder, correct shape to body, nice strong rear & moved well. OD (2,1) 1 Kerrush’s Micklan Jack Point, mustard. No doubt that this is a male, masculine head carried on muscular & powerful neck leading to well placed shoulders. Good forehand & chest, body of correct weasel like shape. Correct double coat & presented to perfection. Moved very well to take the CC, BOB. V (1) 1 Riach’s Puddockswell Gilded Imp, 9 years. Of correct size, decent head, shown in good order. BV. PB (2) 1 Drake’s Tollcross Thistledown, pepper. Litter sister to my Puppy Dog winner. Similar remarks apply just heads the dog in maturity, good prospects. BPB, BP; 2 Milton’s Puddockswell Hotlips Houlihan at Wilmit, mustard. Sweet in head, good eye, fair neck, good shape to body, preferred the rear movement on 1 today. JB (2) 1 Kerrush’s Miklan Sun Kissed, mustard. Feminine headed, good eye & strong neck, lovely shape to body & another with the correct coat. Moved well on muscled rear to take the CC. A promising future ahead; 2 Cox-Purcell’s Puddockswell Margarita Pracatan, mustard. Sadly she had a fright en route to the ring which made my assessment difficult. Hope she gets over it & settles down again. LB (5,1) 1 Hubbard’s Bonnybeck Crystal Cascade, pepper. Good head with dark expressive eyes. Strong neck leading to well laid shoulders. Nice shape to body, correct harsh coat, moved well; 2 Watson’s Alltallach Early Snowdrop, mustard. Feminine, pleasing for size. Fair neck & shoulders with good front. In good condition & moved OK; 3 Riach’s Puddockswell Shadow Weaver. OB (1) 1 Milton’s Ch Hawkesmill Jenny for Wilmit, mustard. Worthy Ch, feminine, fair head with dark eye, powerful jaw & large teeth. A touch out of coat today. Moves well. RCC. ALAN NORCROSS |
