Dandie Dinmont Terriers

PD (2)

1 Kerrush’s Inzievar Silver And Gold, lovely temperament & such a happy boy! Pleasing head & pigment. Shoulders could be better laid back. Super body & topline, powerful impressive rear. Coat rather in between at present. Good mover all ways.

JD (1)

1 Skitt Marshall’s Deegandan Dughall, correct proportions of foreface to backskull, broad jaws, good eye set nicely & sparkling, OK in front, feet turned out as a short legged dog can do, good body, topline & powerful rear, smart smooth mover & in good coat. Sired by Vistca Vincent, I see. CC.

LD (3)

1 Riach’s Puddockswell Gilded Imp, liked his head & expression. Ears set a touch high maybe, enough neck, OK in front, ribs carried well back, strong behind, true little mover & in excellent jacket. RCC;

2 Macpherson’s Dawsholm Wee Darick, a bit on the tubby side & this showed in his front movement. Deep chest, well boned legs, good arch over loin, well set tail, lovely expressive eyes, nice silky furnishings.

OD (2) A.

PB (1)

1 Jarvis’ Inzievar Summer Gold at Mosterlada, nice quality bitch with a lovely body & rear, coat coming on well, such a lovely temperament. Head OK, but still needs to broaden somewhat of course. Muzzle a tough long. Fair front, enough neck, showing & moving out well.

JB (4)

1 Miller’s Puddockswell Moon Whisper at Dryfevalley, super bitch so hard & fit! Gorgeous head, eyes & expression, excellent front & body, depth & correct topline for the breed, so powerful & has great drive from hocks going away. Cat falling in pencils & nice furnishings too! RCC;

2 Chapman-King’s Inzievar Sparkling Silver, great showgirl, pleasing head & backskull. Rather elbowy to go over, but has plenty of bone for size. Nice body. A little too much hair over loin & croup giving her more of a run up in topline rather than a gentle curve. Coat texture could be harder too. BP;

3 Drake’s Deegandan Bessie Surtees.

LB (4)

1 Miller’s Puddockswell Truly Scrumptious at Dryfevalley, good strong bitch, but eyes a bit on the prominent side & could perhaps get damaged hunting. Good front & forechest, deep enough, reasonable outline. Good going away, but a little more rear angulation would improve. In good coat & body;

2 Smith’s Glendandy Twinkle Star, out of coat here but what was there was hard! Very nice in outline on the move. A little too close coming towards & her tail comes up too high. Nice furnishings & pretty sound all through;

3 Skitt Marshall’s Duneideann Limited Edition.

OB (4)

1 Marshall’s Dun Eideann First Edition, super bitch in great coat & condition, beautiful head, eyes & earset, enough neck, excellent front & typical front movement, good bone & feet, excellent body & topline, powerful rear, correctly carried tail, keeps her outline well in profile. Also by champion Vistca Vincent & my BOB last time I judged. CC & BOB;

2 Ray’s Dentgate Sweet Symphony, nice quality bitch, but rather forward shoulders & not the forechest of 1. Well ribbed back, good in quarters, pleasing head & expression, good furnishings & back coat hard;

3 Morris’ Pennywave Amaryllis.
