DANDIE DINMONT SKC AUGUST 13 Judge(s): MS L A BROMLEY (MISHAHDA) SKC August 25th 2013 - Dandie Dinmont Terrier - Judge: Mrs Lynda Bromley) I would like to thank all the exhibitors who came with their Dandies, it was a privilege for me to be asked to judge them. Overall the quality was good, and movement sound. Correct dentition and good sized teeth in all exhibits on the day. PD/B: (2,1a): 1 Denham’s Dentgate Hollyberries. Pretty pepper bitch with lovely expression and dark eye. Domed skull, fine well placed ears, good skull to muzzle ratio. Adult coat coming. Well padded tight feet. Still has some body maturing to do, but shapely outline. She moved soundly and happily. BP JD/B (2:1): 1. Hislop & Kinsey-Morgan’s Inzievar Sparkling Silver. 2. Denham’s Dentgate Royal Jubilee. Pepper bitch. Soft expression,rich dark eyes.Finer ears than 1, but weaker in head overall. Good ribbing, softer coated. Moved better coming than going, less angulated stifle, so she didn’t drive so well from the rear. PGD (2): 1. Kerrush’s Inzievar Silver And Gold. Masculine pepper with dark eye and strong muzzle. Excellent head with broad skull, good stop and occiput. Strong bone, good layback of shoulder, well padded feet. Deep broad chest with good length of rib. Coat ok. Back quarters with short strong hocks, moved easily with drive around the ring. Liked his overall length, shape and movement. ResDCC LD (3, 2a): 1. Sleight’s Cassencarrie Bobby Vee At Bonnybeck. Masculine Mustard. Dark well spaced eyes giving a melting expression of wisdom. Correct ear set, strong head with broad muzzle and muscular neck. Feet well padded but stands back on his pasterns a bit in front, shoulders ok. Well let down chest, good length of rib, nicely angulated quarters. Correct double coat. Moved happily, with more positive rear movement. OD.(1): 1. Deacon & Pearce’s CH Cassencarrie I Kid You Not ShCm. Well presented in rich mustard crisp coat. Dark well spaced eyes with soft expression. Good stop, head and top skull ok. Shown in hard working condition, well muscled with good bone. Strong neck set into laid back shoulders. Well padded, tight feet. Straight front, deep chest, well sprung rib and balanced length overall. Gentle drop from loin to correct set on of tail. Well angulated hindquarters, with short hocks. Moved with an ease and drive around the ring. DCC PGB(3,1a): 1. Miller’s Puddockswell Moon Whisper At Dryfevalley (IKC). Pretty pepper bitch. Melting expression from well placed dark eyes. Fine ears, correct set on. Nicely domed head, good ribbing, in proportion to her overall body, length and size. Double pencilled coat. Nicely angulated rear stifles. Kept her topline on the move. Preferred her rear movement to 2nd. In class. LB (3,1a): 1. Hislop & Kinsey-Morgan’s Inzievar Sparkling Silver. Pepper bitch See JD/B. BCC. BOB OB(6,2a): 1. Marshall’s Duneideann First Edition. Pepper with soft expression, dark eyes, good ear placement. Lovely full head, with defined stop and backskull. Well laid front shoulder with straight front. Chest well let down between the legs. Good ribbing and tuck up, balanced length. Well angulated stifle, short hocks. Crisp pencilled double coat. Balanced all round and kept her topline on the move. Covered the ground well. ResBCC 2.
