DANDIE DINMONT NATIONAL TERRIER 14 Judge(s): BEVERLY DEACON (CASSENCARRIE) I would like to thank the officers and committee of NTC for inviting me to judge for the second time at my favourite show and of course the exhibitors for entering their dogs. MPD. 1st Rolland's Dandiroyal Diggory Delvet, well boned pup with dark round eye, balance of head and muzzle and well filled. Wide mouth and big teeth.Dark rich mustard jacket which was well presented. A confident pup who has time on his side. 1st Bell's Hawkesmill Indigo, two litter brothers here, very similar in many ways,1st is more forward in coat than 2nd and will no doubt change places many times. Dark eyes and good skulls for their age. Fronts are a bit untidy but time will improve. Both moved with confidence. 2nd. Noble's Hawkesmill Indiana. 1st. O'Malley's. Waitensee Charlie Farley At Belapapvo, pepper,OK in head and eye, good length of neck and body,Shapely topline and correct set on.Moved better when settled to the job. 2nd. Doyle's. Dentgate Jackfrost At Ilexquercus, mustard in need of a new jacket so detracts from his shape. Ample head. 1st. Henry's Dariant Genri Mi Rey At Trinzy, very enthusiasticmustard, good expression, dark eye and ample skull. Well furnished head and small ears.Good run in and layback.Correct topline and set on.Well presented jacket. 2nd. Hayes & Harrods. Etsill Rognvald, pepper who needs a new jacket, strong skull and dark eye. Well ribbed and good length of body. 1st. Gregg's Dariant Lui Vencedor Di Mi Soul At Bambusa, I liked this boy very much,he has a big strong skull and large dark eyes, strong neck and clean shoulder and well ribbed. Carrying far too much condition at the moment so is losing definition in topline. Moves well and hind movement is superb.RCC 2nd. Johnson's. Avonview Beinn Heasgarnich, well presented pepper, tidy front and good feet.Well muscled and moved well. 3rd. O'Malley's. Waitensee Charlie Farley. 1st. Shore's Swanwillow Clarion Call, mature mustard, strong head and neck running into clean shoulder, well boned legs and he stands on strong well padded feet. Well ribbed and correct topline and set on. Short hocks and well bent stifle. His movement is strong and powerful, well deserved CC & BOB,his third. 2nd. Milliner's. IKC Ch Xenon Z Roxburku Sun At Millerim, lighter boned pepper.Ample head and dark eye. Clean shoulder but not the layback of winner .Enthusiastic mover. 1st Rolland's. Dandiroyal Puddleglum, delightful pepper with the darkest of eyes and pigment. Feminine expression, small ears and well furnished head, wide mouth. Well boned and tidy front. Well ribbed but carrying a lot of condition today so she loses her topline. Just needs a little more confidence to finish the picture. 1st. Russell's Hawkesmill Ishbelle, confident pepper who when settled moved soundly. Feminine head and expression, dark eye and correct ear set . Clean shoulder and reachy neck. Would like a bit more body on her to balance.Well presented jacket. BPIB 1st. King's Bonnybeck Delilah Creek,10 month old mustard, pretty head and dark eye.Clean shoulder and well padded feet. Moved with confidence. 2nd. O'Malley's Bellapapavo Aleka Allamander, same age as 1st,heavier set pup.Dark eye.Well ribbed 1st. Rolland's Clossongrey Marshwiggle, pepper with great pigment, darkest of eyes and small ears.Round skull, well furnished. Well padded feet and good bone. She has great length and is well ribbed and the shortest of hocks. Unfortunately she put very little into showing but maybe the change of handler didn't help. 2nd. Drake's. Deegandan Bessie Surtees To Tollcross, lighter boned pepper, dark eye but not the head of 1st. 1st. Henry's. Dariant Grace Mi Solar At Trinzy, mustard with great attitude and presence, dark eye and balanced head. Tidy front and good feet.
