Dandie Dinmont Terriers

PD (3)

1 Skitt Marshall’s Deegandan Dughall, nice type of mustard puppy, very sound, nice size, good moving both ways, excellent head & expression, excellent mouth. Not in his best coat, but that will come;

2 Jacka-Slater’s Pennywave Lone Ranger, mustard, close to 1. Not as well bodied as 1, but at 11 months can still mature. In excellent coat, sound both ways, head is balanced. Would like a little more strength in muzzle;

3 Hendrick’s Etsill Quoy Dandy.

JD (1)

1 Henry’s Dariant Genri Mi Rey at Trinzy, very outgoing 9 months dog, OK for size, good in head & expression, straight in front, good bone & feet, sound moving, coat of good texture. Topline a little exaggerated here.

PGD (1)

1 Johnson’s Avonview Beinn Heasgarnich, pepper dog in great coat & condition, nice to go over on the table, good length of body, good hindquarters, nice in head. Would like a shorter muzzle.

LD (3)

1 Shore’s Swanwillow Clarion Call, mustard dog with the most cuddly head & expression, strong square muzzle, excellent front, good bone & feet, so very sound, in excellent coat & body condition. CC;

2 Hughes’ Maganbar Magic Moment, not the best behaved young man in the class. Happy as they come & very full of himself, sound on the move, clean in neck & shoulder where he scored over 3;

3 Sleight’s Cassencarrie Bobby Vee at Bonnybeck.

OD (3)

1 Morris’ Cassencarrie Rumour Has It at Pennywave, mustard dog of good length. Gets his tail a little high, but he is sound on the move. Lovely head & nice expression, good reach of neck, good topline, coat of good texture. RCC;

2 Hunter’s Ch Etsill Scapa Flow, pepper dog who I have often admired, such a nice dog to go over. Not the layback of shoulder of 1 & didn’t have the flow of neck of 1 stacked. In super coat, showed so well. A worthy ch;

3 France’s Torbrae Dance N’ Dazzle.

PB (2)

Only two but so difficult, where one scored the other failed.

1 Henry’s Deegandan Grace Darling, very raw but very full of herself. Not in full coat as yet. Sound & free moving, scored in head type over 2, but 2 scored in topline;

2 Miller’s Puddockswell Moon Whisper at Dryfevalley, pepper & a really nice type. Would persist in standing poorly in front & no9t quite so good in shoudlesr. In better coat than 1, well handled. Very close up.

JB (3)

1 Henry’s Dariant Grace Mi Solar at Trinzy, mustard bitch who I was quite taken with, long weasely body, excellent coat texture, sound both ways, super head & expression, large ye, well placed eye, very showy. Should have a good future. BP;

2 Miller’s Puddockswell Truly Scrumptious at Dryfevalley, slightly different in type to 1, mustard without the length of 1 but a well shaped body. In super coat condition. Not quite as sound as 1, but in profile moved out really well;

3 Rushton’s Newtoon Silver Gem.

PGB (3)

1 Skitt Marshall’s Duneideann Limited Edition, mustard bitch of a very nice type, good length, good neck & shoulders, excellent in head, well shaped eye giving a lovely expression, moved well both ways;

2 Sleight’s Cassencarrie Madelaina at Bonnybeck, also mustard but slightly heavier in type to 1. Not as good in coat as 1, but was of a super texture. Very nice in head, strong muzzle. Just a little too heavy in front & so spoiled her front movement.

LB (6)

1 Heywood’s Cloverwood Day By Day at Schalulleke, what a nice pepper bitch this is, a new one to me & quite where she has been hiding I don’t know! Lovely type, super head, good outline, sound free moving, presented superbly. In the challenge she didn’t move with the same enthusiasm & so won RCC, but it was so close;

2 Marshall’s Dun Eideann First Edition, pepper without the length of 1, but still in balance & good in topline & tailset. Not quite as sound in front as 1, but that was only nit picking. A nice bitch;

3 Shore’s Swanwillow She’s Hot.

OB (4)

1 Russell’s Ch/Aust Ch Jollygaze Hopeless Romantic for Hawkesmill, pepper of a really nice type, long shapely body, very good in front, good reach of neck, excellent topline, in super coat, so well presented, sound both ways. A quality bitch. CC & BOB;

2 Morris’ Pennywave Amaryllis, mustard bitch who is different in balance to 1, so nice to go over, good neck & shoulders. Not quite as good in front as 1. Good topline, tail carried well, well bodied, good length of rib, excellent hindquarters;

3 Rolland’s Clossongrey Marshwiggle.
