DANDIE DINMONT DRIFFIELD 22 Judge: Patsy Hollings PD 1(0) 1. Tinsley’s Cloverwood Black Jack. What a good start to have this lovely youngster, just rising 12 months, masculine head with width of skull, dark eye and well placed ear, has strength in muzzle with big nose, clean developed neck through good forehand, legs and feet, has spring of rib to rise over loin and gentle slope of croup to well set and used tail, positive easy mover with correct foot placement, RDCC & BP. 1. Poole’s Hawkesmill Merlon. 3 years, solid chap with pleasing typical outline, happy disposition and goes with handler nicely, he was presented in good body and decent coat. 1. Swallow’s Belapapavo Joyous Jaguar. Pleasing fore face with width to muzzle and jaw, he has spring of rib and length to body, a touch flat over loin, he was really enjoying his day but not always concentrating when moving. 1. Poole’s Hawkesmill Merlon. Repeat. 1. Butcher’s Ch. Mishahda Mischief Managed. 20 months that displays type, shape and soundness, lovely head balance and strength without being overdone, dark expressive eye, flowing neck though well made shoulders with depth of chest and straight well boned legs, muscular loin providing the correct rise and slope to croup with continuation of strongly set tail, held it all together to take DCC & BOB and went even better in the big ring to take Group 1. 1. Atkinson’s Kingcottage Alberline West at Hullpride. This 8 year old bitch never stopped wagging her tail and she made me smile, she is still shapely and not overweight, perhaps not in her best coat, she went off with gusto, BV. 1. Allenby/Karlsen’s Diddimont Andante at Karezig. Brand new out at 6 months with a super character and I really liked her, she has a super head and so much quality and type, just right in all departments and with her gentle handler should come on to greater things, in the challenge she got it even better, a most promising girl. 2. Atkinson’s Coupe D’Hebe at Hullpride. Very full of confidence and her handler had her working well, head just needs to break and when she bodies up she can present a more typical outline. 1. Bell’s Cofgodas Beurre D’Avalon. Pretty young bitch, she appeals in head having femininity and balance with round eyes set well and width to jaw, good shape throughout which she retains on the move, sound mover going well with handler, super presentation in hard top coat and soft feathering. 2. Buckley’s Jollygaze Quizzical for Lovelettie (imp AUS). Really well presented and handled to advantage, again has a balanced typical head, she moves with free action, can tend to flatten in top-line a touch. 1. Fray’s Woodfud Winters Dream. Decent head on this young bitch with good skull, eye and muzzle with width to jaw, strongly made without losing her femininity, she has decent coat and was turned out well, moved with impulsion. 2. Cundall’s Diddimont Bella Trix of Bleaklee. Not quite the head of winner for me, she has type and good shape depicting the breed and held the outline on the move. 3. Allan’s Cloverwood Saffron avec Clairmorin. 1. Henry’s Trinzy Glamour N’Grace. Honest bitch with strength and shape which she never lost on the move, clean strong neck, well placed shoulders and positive in front, standing and moving, she has correct ribbing to filled loin, has length and balance of body with correct rise and slope of croup, strongly attached tail, in the final run off presented the best stride and shape to take the RBCC. 1. Tinsley’s Cloverwood The One And Only. Loved her head and her responsive committed outlook, she is sound with good bone and well padded feet, correct shoulder placement with depth of chest and spring of rib, has balance of length of body to leg with muscular loin with gentle rise, width and slope to rump with strong set on of tail, has easy gait with length of stride and good foot fall, a lovely Dandie, BCC 2. Roberts’ Power Of Love De Cynoeole at Marbledale (imp FRA). Has a lot of appeal and is very well made, strong active bitch in good order, not over styled, just has shape and type, pleasing to lay hands on and positive mover. 3. Allenby’s Diddimont Luna Wuffgood JW. |
