DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE CRUFTS 25

hank you to all the exhibitors for giving me such a wonderful entry, I did appreciate it. Being second in the ring with another breed following, I tried not to waste any time without giving each exhibit the due amount of attention.

VD (1)

1 Ch Danchesters Vote Me to Win (Imp Fin) (Hume) A mustard of lovely size and outline, well balanced head of good proportions, good eye and expression, correct mouth, enough rib and substance, strong coupling well placed and carried tail. Very happy temperament and sound enough on the move. Presented in good order.

PD (4)

1 Dainty Dandies Explorer at Lenacourt (Imp Nld) (Harcourt-Morris) A pepper of lovely size and carried himself so well, good skull and strong muzzle of good proportions, correct mouth, well placed shoulders onto an ok front, typical topline with the correct rise over the loin. Free on the move and covered sufficient ground, happy for him to be Best Puppy.

2 Puddockswell Imagine This Around Marbledale (IKC) (Roberts). A mustard of pleasing type, balanced head with a large well shaped eye. Enough neck into well placed shoulders. Good in rib and tail carriage, on the move he was a touch unsettled but shows promise

3 Waffelins Velorum (Nettleton)

JD (2)

1 - Lovelettie Busy Bean (Buckley) A mustard who I found to be very free moving, appearing a touch on the larger size at the moment, but so sound. Balanced head with strong muzzle, well-shaped eye, correct mouth very good straight front, correct rib and coupling, tended to flatten out in topline but well angulated quarters

2 Puddockswell Rockit (Redman) This dog presented a lovely outline and is of pleasing size, he has an appealing head, dark well shaped eye, correct mouth with well placed ears, enough rib and depth, well set tail but could not match the accuracy of the winner today. His coat was in good condition.

PGD (9,2)

1 Redgreet Coldstream Guards Into Pondfrox (Dolby) A mustard of lovely size and presents a typical outline, head of good proportions and strength of jaw, well placed ears of good length, strong neck into well placed shoulders, well angulated and muscled hindquarters, just flattened a bit on the move.

2 Puddockswell What The Dickens of Bleaklee (Cundall) A mustard in a larger frame than the winner but so pleasing to go over, well placed shoulders onto a well ribbed body, true front, well angulated quarters Carried himself well. Typical in topline and lovely coat texture

3 Cloverwood’s Storm Shadow (Baker & Denton)

LD (8,1)

1 Dandiroyal Dashwood (Rolland) A pepper who is so typical of the breed, loved his size and so correct in topline, he has substance without being overdone, balanced in head, dark eye giving a good expression correct mouth, very good in front being well boned and straight, enough rib and coupling well set tail, moves freely showing a good temperament,

2 Lenacourt Laird Lochy (Wheeler) Another pepper who impressed me, close up to the winner and similar remarks apply, a touch bigger than the first but has the freedom of movement and style on the move

3 Redgreet Mighty Oak (Wilford)

OD (13,2)

1 Ch. Cloverwood Happy Daze (Tinsley) This was a well filled class but sadly some mouths were suspect. The winner is a mustard of quality, he has a correctly shaped head, balanced and strong, good strength of muzzle, correct mouth, well placed ears, good neck and shoulder flowing into a typical topline, well boned straight front, lovely rib and coupling, well set tail used correctly on the move, his well presented coat was in first class order. He won CC and BOB and a treat to see him striding out in the group ring

2 Pol Ch Kiti’s Band Road Runner Superbird Ww24 Euw23/24 (Ostrowski) A touch larger than the winner but so attractive in outline and overall shape, balanced head, correct mouth, lovely eye and expression, true enough in front , well ribbed and coupled, pleasing tail set and nicely angulated quarters. He strode out well on the move and pressed the winner hard. RCC in strong competition

3 Dk/se Ch Whisborne Loch Ness Dkv-23 (Linda Friberg)

GCDSD (4)

1 Cloverwood’s Storm Shadow (Baker & Denton) A pepper with an appealing outline, and of correct type, not quite finish as yet but has time

2 Lilyphanie Great Showman (Webber) A mustard in a larger frame than the winner, he has a typical outline and keeps his topline on the move. A steady mover.

3 Diamondandie Earl (Edginton)

VB (5)

3 Int Ch Dainty Dandies Royal Dutch Emma for Lenacourt (Harcourt-Morris)

PB (1)

1 Redgreet Violet (Dickinson) A pepper who is still slightly immature at the moment but is pleasing to go over, she needs time but the basics are there, , obviously needs time to develop but should mature into a good bitch, stood alone

JB (6)

1 - Diamondandie Ruby Sunrise (McGuinness) Another mustard who will benefit with more maturity, she handles well on the table and carries a lovely body for her age, dark pigment giving a pleasing expression, quite good in front construction, shows steadily and has a well textured coat

2 Finamor’s Voulez Vous with Bonnybeck (Sleight) A mustard with more maturity than the winner but a touch more of her overall. She has a well-balanced head, good eye and expression, lovely rib and well set tail, muscular quarters

3 Calmarlin Memento Vita (Davies & Davies & Kettle)

PGB (11,3)

1 Cassencarrie Button Moon (Deacon) This mustard was in first class order, her coat was shining and of deep colour, so typical in outline and kept her shape both standing and, on the move, large dark eye, correct mouth, well placed ears and a true front. A steady show girl keeping her topline and outline on the move

2 Lovelettie Butter Bean to Hawkesmill (Russell) Quite an impressive pepper bitch of quality, carrying a super body with a typical outline, she moved truly and kept her outline. Lovely coat texture which was well prepared.

3 Diamondandie Blue Sapphire (McGuinness)

OB (11,3)

1 Ch Cloverwood Here Comes Lulu (Tinsley) This bitch has a very attractive outline and plenty of glamour for a Dandie. Sweetest of expression form a well balanced head, large eye well placed shoulders and a good rib . correct topline and well set tail. On the move she was true and a lengthy stride, lovely well presented coat of good colour CC
