DANDIE DINMONT CRUFTS 19 Judge(s): MRS J TINSLEY BEST OF BREED GLAHMS COL BRANDON OF BARTON [ATC AV03300CAN] Dog Owner: MR C & MS M ESPEJO & BATISTE DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE CRUFTS 19 I would like to thank my very sporting exhibitors for my lovely entry. Also thank you to my very efficient ring stewards who tried to keep me on schedule when we had an unexpected, but very welcome, Royal visitor in the ring to see the Dandies. There were some beautiful Dandies on show and I was delighted with my principle winners. I really did have a most enjoyable day. PD (1) 1 Bamber's Dentgate Huckleberry. Nice looking puppy, up to size. Strong balanced head with big teeth, good dark eye, appealing expression. good length of body and tailset. Good coat, moved well. Liked him very much. JD (3, 1) 1 Gregg's Gens Honora Magic Almonds At Bambusa. Loved this smart pepper boy - good strong head, dark eye, good neck leading to shapely topline, good angles front and rear, good tailset beautiful coat. Moved very well - one to watch. 2 McLaughlan & Fitzsimmons' Wilmit Hawkeye Pierce At Lanleadane. Another well presented youngster. Not as finished as first, but still a quality boy - just needs time to mature. Good head and expression. Moved better going than coming. PGD (7) 1 Riach's Puddockswell Billy Bathgate. Very well presented mustard boy with rich dark jacket. Loved his head and expression, good strong neck, good ribbing and tail set. Moved well. 2 Fear's Barely Legal Coconut Caramel At Ceilmear. Another nice dog, smaller than first with a more workmanlike presentation. Good coat, masculine head a real Dandie male expression. Moved ok, better in rear. 3 Rayner's Reidswire Border Battlecry To Rubegud. Handsome pepper boy with lots to like, good coat, appealing head and expression, dark eye correct bite with big teeth. I just thought he didn't seem as enthusiastic on the move on the day. Very sound. LD (6, 1) 1 Brown's Great Gatsby Ze Zihelske Zahrady. Attractive dark pepper dog. Very nice jacket and no shortage of topknot! beautifully presented and handled by his young handler. I liked his head and expression, good neck, coming down to gentle curved topline, well ribbed back. A little proud of his tail on the move but he's very smart. 2 Stanley's Sokrovische Gardariki Aristokrat At Waffelin. Another beautiful boy. Lots to like about this boy. Lovely head with plenty of skull and large teeth, good forehand, good length of body and rear angulation. Short tail, moved out well. 3 Bamber's Dentgate Mutula Indicolite. Nice pepper boy, strong masculine head, dark eye, well presented. Good bone and feet. Easy, fluent mover. Not as good in front as first and second. OD (7) 1 Espejo's & Batiste, Glahms Col Brandon Of Barton. Very glamorous pepper boy, caught my eye as he entered the ring. Loved his size, head and melting expression, dark eye, good mouth. Beautifully presented. Snowy white furnishings with a good pepper jacket. Good front and rear angulation. Moved freely and true. He looked wonderful in the Group. CC & BOB. 2 Cox-Purcell & Miller's German Dandies' Zampano At Puddockswell. Beautiful mustard dog with a lot to like. Very nice head and expression, good mouth with big teeth, good strong neck going into good shoulders, legs and feet. Good ribbing and rear angulation. Rich mustard coat, short tail. Moved very well. RCC. 3 Deacon & Hill's Ch Cassencarrie Choirmaster. Lovely smaller pepper boy, beautiful head, very well presented with beautiful jacket. Lots to admire and like about this boy, but thought the younger boys had the edge on him today. GCD 1 Rayner's Reidswire Border Battlecry To Rubegud. 2 Pettit's Cofgodas Wolf River. VB (1) 1 Sleight's Cassencarrie Madelaina At Bonny Beck. 8 yr old mustard, enjoyed her day out, typical Dandie head, dark eye. She hasn't forgotten how to show herself off, very sweet girl. PB (4) 1 Bell's Dryfevalley Gala. Very pretty little bitch, very feminine. Sweet head and expression, good mouth, good length of body, good ribbing, nice front and shoulder. Strong rear well muscled, moved soundly. Liked her very much. 2 Thomas' Tymeirz Lulu Grace At Cumhath. Smaller mustard bitch. Not the head and skull of first, but pretty expression with good dark eye. Moved ok would like to see her when she finishes growing. 3 McLaughlan & Fitzsimmons' Norma Jeane Baker Di Luna Caprese At Lanleadane. Dear little girl, good skull, big head, dark lovely eyes. Loved her overall type.Would prefer a slightly longer muzzle. Good bone. Well presented, needs to steady on the move. JB (9, 2) 1 Nicholson & Ness' Lady Gloria Of Trebarret At Calmarlin. Really liked this little girl. Lovely length of body, beautifully presented coat, good head and teeth, good front and strong well muscled rear end. Good quarters and tail set. Free easy mover. Just needs more furnishings, especially topknot, to finish the picture. 2 Horackova's Gloria Mea Magic Almonds. Beautiful neat little pepper girl, so pretty, loved her neck and head and expression, good mouth, excellent front. Good topline and tail set. Moved very well, just preferred the length and substance of first. 3 Rolland's Dandiroyal Cream Tea. Loved this bitch, very pretty head, lovely neck and shoulders, nice length of body, good topline, strong quarters, good feet. steady on the move, lovely bitch, just needed a new jacket on the day. PGB (10, 2) 1 Rolland's Dandiroyal Cotswold Dream. Gorgeous bitch with the most melting eyes, head, and expression. Lovely skull with strong teeth and big dark eyes. Neat little ears. Good neck and shoulder, long shapely body with gentle curves. Good strong rear and good angles both ends. So well balanced and moved so confidently. Just my cup of tea. CC. 2 Horackova's Gloria Mea Magic Almonds 3 Allenby's Wilmit Mildred Potter For Diddimont. What a lovely little girl, she's a very nice Dandie, pretty head and expression, good front and good rear end angulation. Moved so well, and beautifully handled - needs to lose a little weight. LB (11, 3) 1 France's Miss Sophie Of Luna Caprese At Tobrae. Very pretty young lady. Lovely head, big dark eye. Nice neck going into good front, good topline and strong rear end. Very good coat, beautifully presented. Moved out well. 2 Sleight's Mishahda Where It All Began. Lovely, balanced head on this attractive pepper. Good bite. Good front, neck, and strong rear end. Very good coat, beautifully presented. Moved well. 3 Davies' Meriel's Munnings. Attractive little mustard girl. Very pretty head, dark eye with melting expression, good shoulder. Well ribbed, preferred the length of neck of first. OB (8, 2) 1 Buckley's Ch German Dandies' Violetta. What a beautiful head and expression this bitch has. Perfectly presented as were all the bitches in this class. Good neck and shoulders. Flowing top line and in good hard condition with a well muscled rear end - moved with purpose and drive. RCC. 2 Milton's Ch Hawkemill Jenny For Wilmit. One of my absolute favourite bitches. I do love her elegant outline and I have given her a ticket in the past. So many things to like about her - but just thought on the day the younger bitches had more to offer. 3 Gregg's Ch/Ire Ch Ellabeth Amabilisdandie At Bambusa. Another beautiful Dandie, very worthy Ch, lovely head with big dark eyes, loved her overall type and balance. Good front and plenty of bone. Moved out well. Judge Mrs J Tinsley |
