DANDIE DINMONT CRUFTS 13 Dandie Dinmont Terrier Judge(s): MR K DERRY Dandie Dimont Terriers My thanks to my stewards who were very hard pushed by exhibitors taking their time to get into the ring, particularly at the end when PD went missing & failed to turn up? Sorry to gripe but fronts were in the main poor, there were three with poor dentition & trimming in far too many cases obscured movement with coat where it should not be left on. In one instance I thought I was in the Chinese Crested ring & sometimes in the Dachshund classes. May I suggest the DDTC trimming guide as a starting point for a lot of people! VD (1) 1 Chapman-King, Jamieson & Buist’s Ch Inzievar Silver Gilt, pepper, 8 years, quality Dandie handled & in tip-top condition. Correct shape & balanced outline with nothing exaggerated, good front with deep chest, legs set wide apart & straight, feet pointing forward. Masculine head, dark eye, correct length of muzzle, large clean teeth, ears well set & thin. Strong muscular neck into well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs, correct topline standing as well as on the move, rear legs well apart, good angulation & hocks well let down. Coat of superb texture. Moved exactly as one would expect from the conformation. CC. PD (1) 1 Milliner’s Zenon Z Roxburku Sun at Millerim, pepper 14 months, masculine head with good proportions, dark eye giving good expression, correct shape, strength in neck leading into well laid shoulders, good rear angulation leading to drive in rear movement.
