DANDIE DINMONT CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 11 Judge: Miss K Green DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 11 Dandie Dinmont Terriers Several males had rather high tailsets & there were a couple of shy Dandies, which is most unusual. PD (1) 1 Shore’s Swanwillow Clarion Call, mustard, very promising puppy, masculine head, good bite with large teeth, good stop & nice expression, strong neck, correct topline, coat coming on well, well muscled hindquarters, same ring presence as his mum, really enjoyed showing. BP & PG1. JD (1) 1 Morris’ Cassencarrie Rumour Has It at Pennywave, mustard, strong skull with correct stop, nice eye & expression, good pigmentation, front & shoulders, held his topline on the move, well muscled hindquarters, well presented, moved well. RCC. PGD (3) A poor class. 1 Stone’s Ludlay Lord Of The Isles, mustard, tailset rather high, won on excellent coat, nice expression, strong head. Movement in front & back could be better; 2 Jacka-Slater’s Cassencarrie Robby Burns, same remarks apply to 1, shorter in body. Topline a little flat; 3 Brown’s Trussochs Ben. OD (6) 1 Deacon’s Carac Most Definitely Cassencarrie, mustard, what a quality dog, good skull & nice eye expression, correct stop, excellent bite, good pigment, strong neck, good topline, strong muscular hindquarters, moves well, well presented & handled. BOB; 2 France’s Torbrae Dance N Dazzle, mustard, had the best coat, well pencilled & correct texture, lovely eye & expression, good size, well balanced, well handled & presented, moved well; 3 Jones’ Skitt Vistca Vincent. GCD (0). PB (4) 1 Shore’s Swanwillow She’s Hot, mustard, very feminine, sweet eye & expression, good length & correct tailset, lovely temperament, most mature in this class, well presented & handled, just preferred brother’s front movement for BP; 2 Allen & Morgan’s Inzievar Red Gold, mustard, very pretty with nice eye & expression, good length of body, coat coming on well. Not as mature as 1; 3 Fry’s Inzievar Gold Thread. JB (4) 1 Kinsey-Morgan’s Inzievar Gold Effect, every time I walked past this one she looked at me & said ‘I’m here’, such ring presence, pretty head & expression, good bite, good front & neck, correct topline & shape, well muscled which shows on the move, very well presented & handled to get the best out of her. CC; 2 Hamilton’s Maganbar Amber Mist over Margham, mustard, feminine, nice size, strong skull & nice eye expression, well muscled. Not the length or neck of 1; 3 Denham’s Dentgate Summer Breeze. PGB (7) 1 Heywood’s Cloverwood Day By Day at Schalulleke, pepper, very pretty feminine girl, sweet eye & expression, lovely shape & outline, well muscled, moved well, well presented & handled; 2 Bell’s Kirkhalin Mystic Prudence, pepper, very feminine, nice eye & expression, excellent coat texture, good topline & tail carriage, well handled, moved well; 3 Fry’s Ludlay Bride Of Lammermoor. LB (9) A nice class. 1 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Sizzling Gold, mustard, gorgeous eye & expression, good bite, strong skull, good neck & shoulder, correct topline & tail carriage, in good coat & condition, very well handled; 2 Deacon’s Cassencarrie Miss Grace at Pennywave, pepper, lovely feminine girl, good front & topline, real showgirl, full of herself, pretty eye & expression, nice outline, moved well, excellent presentation as always by this exhibitor; 3 Morris’ Pennywave Amaryllis. OB (3) 1 Russell’s Aus Ch Jollygaze Hopeless Romantic for Hawkesmill, pepper, lovely eye & expression with big teeth, excellent pigmentation, strong neck, good topline, excellent texture & colour coat, very well presented, a real show girl, moves well, I just preferred length of muzzle of my CC winner.
