DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 19

SBD/B (2)

1. Desfontaines & Sutton’s Cofgodas Northern Spy. A good start with this promising young pepper male. I liked his shapely outline and very good length of body. Large well-proportioned head with silky top knot, large expressive eyes, well placed ears and strong jaws. Reachy neck leading into well laid shoulders, good ribbing and rear angulation. Coat in very good order and well presented. Sound steady mover. Best Special Beginner and delighted to see that he was placed group 2 in the Special beginners Terrier group.

2. Fear’s Ceilmear's Total Chancer. Mustard girl with a feminine head with large dark eyes giving delightful expression. Good forechest, well balanced overall with good length of body, good strong hindquarters which were very well-muscled hindquarters and nice turn of stifle. Moved soundly, not quite the drive of winner behind.

PD/B (1)

1. McGuinness’ Diamondandie Black Diamond. Pretty pepper, appealing for type with a nicely balanced outline and good length of body with gentle curves giving a typical weasely outline. Large head with large eyes giving a soulful expression, she did make me smile. Good lay of shoulders, well ribbed and very good hindquarters. Well prepared coat with furnishings coming along. Moved out soundly both ways. Pleased to award her RBB and BP.

JD/B (2)

1. Desfontaines & Sutton’s Cofgodas Northern Spy. Just had the edge on maturity in this class.

2. McGuinness’ Diamondandie Blue Sapphire. Mustard puppy with an attractive well balanced head and delightful expression, large expressive eyes, excellent pigment and good mouth with big strong teeth. Good front, nicely laid shoulders and firm topline. Shown in well-presented jacket. Sound steady mover, not quite as confident as winner as yet.

PGD/B (4,1abs)

1. Allenby’s Wilmit Mildred Potter For Diddimont. Young mustard bitch with a delightful temperament. I liked her size and well-proportioned body giving a typical outline. Feminine large well balanced head with silky topknot, large dark expressive eyes and excellent bite with big strong teeth. Good forechest, legs and feet. Reachy neck, well laid shoulders, long shapely body with gentle curves and well set on tail. Well-presented crisp jacket. Moved out very well with good propulsion from behind. Pleased to award her BB.

2. Desfontaines & Sutton’s Cofgodas Northern Spy. Repeat.

3. Fear’s Ceilmear’s Total Chancer

LB (4, 2abs)

1. McGuinness’ Siwop Secret Wish. Mature mustard girl with large feminine head, large expressive eyes, and silky topknot all giving a delightful expression. Nice overall size with good length of body with ample ribbing, could have a slightly better rise over loins. Presented well with crisp jacket. Moved out with a good stride, touch wide in front.

2. Milliner’s Dandiroyal Ferrywiggle At Millerim. A well-made mustard girl with good length of body and pleasing shapely outline. Attractive feminine head, large soulful eyes giving a lovely expression and an excellent bite. Well-constructed fore and aft with good forechest, reachy neck, well laid shoulders, and strong hindquarters. Shown in fit condition but needs a new jacket which pegged her back today.

VD/B (2,1abs)

1. Milliner’s Ir Ch Xenon Z Roxburka Sun At Millerim. Handsome and charming pepper male of 7 years and in good form for his age. Pleasing overall size and shape with gentle curves giving a typical weasely outline. Large well balanced masculine head with silky topknot and large eyes giving a melting expression. Well angulated fore and aft, reachy neck, well laid shoulders and ample ribbing, topped off with a beautifully presented double coat. Out moved the youngsters today, moving very positively with decent reach and drive, covering plenty of ground. Pleased to award him BD and BOB.
