I thought some toplines were a little flat, & some could be better muscled up. PD (4)
2 Rolland’s Dandiroyal Diggory Delvet, liked the outline of this dog, correct topline. Masculine head. Super eyes. Feet could be better. Well sprung ribs. Well bent stifle, low hock. Could be better out & back moving; 3 Johnson’s Puddockswell My Dear Watson for Incantocani. JD (1) 1 I The Goldsmith. PGD (0). LD (2,1a) 1 Edwards’ Cloverwood Midnight Blue, liked the size & length of this dog. Masculine head, strong muzzle, low set ears. Could be better in shoulder & upper arm & feet could be tighter. Good depth of chest. Well ribbed back. Would like a little more topline on him. Well made rear, which he uses very well. OD (3) 1 Deacon & Hill’s Cassencarrie Choirmaster, outstanding in the males. Has a pleasing head. Strong muzzle. Well set eyes. Well laid shoulder. Chest of good depth. Big, digging feet. Well ribbed back. Typical topline. Well bent stifle, low hocks. Moves very well. Crisp coat. CC & BOB; 2 Milliner’s Ir Ch Xenon Z Roxburka Sun at Millerim, has a better topline than 3. Masculine head. Good width of skull. Could have more neck. A bit upright in shoulder. Short upper arm. Well ribbed back. Super muscle; 3 Bromley’s Mishahda Volcanic Storm. PB (3,1) 1 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Edged In Gold, feminine bitch who has a typical outline. Better in topline of these two. Has a feminine head. Good width of skull. Ears are high set. Large dark eyes. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Could be better in pastern. Super depth of chest. Well ribbed. Liked her rear, which is well muscled. Lacks undercoat; 2 Milliner’s Dandiroyal Ferrywiggle at Millerim, has a good head, dark, well set eyes. Low set ears. Correct neck. Not the front of 1. Rather flat in topline. OK rear. Also needs undercoat to grow in. Moves OK. JB (3) 1 Rolland’s Dandiroyal Puddleglum, what a super pup. She has a feminine head. Well set eyes. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Good legs & feet. Good depth of chest. Well ribbed. Correct topline. Well made rear. Crisp jacket, which just needs a little more length. Moves with lengthy stride. RCC, BP & PG2; 2 Youngs’ Dentgate Opal, this is a well made bitch, better front & topline than 3. Would like more skull & ears could be lower set. Dark eyes. Deep chest. Well ribbed. Liked her turn of stifle & low hocks. True out & back; 3 Johnson’s Birbrinda Florentine in Incantocani. PGB (3,1) 1 Nice’s Cassencarrie Cleo Rose, liked her size of skull. Low set ears. Big, dark eyes. Correct neck. Well laid shoulder. Good legs & feet. Topline is better moving than standing. Liked her depth of chest & underline. Well muscled rear. In good coat; 2 Fear’s Wives Mulberry Wine, would like a bigger skull, ears are high set. Lengthy neck. Looks out at elbow with too much coat there. Cuts up in underline. Topline has some arch. Low hocks. Can grow some coat. LB (2) A. OB (3,2) 1 Deacon’s Swanwillow Signature, super moving bitch of a lovely size. Well proportioned head. Ears could be lower set. Super eye & expression. Well laid shoulder. Big feet, although could be better knuckled up. Deep chest. Well ribbed back. Correct topline on move. Well bent stifle with low hocks. In super coat. CC. JEFF HORSWELL |
