DANDIE DINMONT BOURNEMOUTH 13 Judge: Mr T Mather BEST OF BREED : 295 TINSLEY Mrs J G Ch Cloverwood Royal George DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 13 Dandie Dinmont Terriers PD & JD (0). PGD (4) 1 Jacka-Slater’s Pennywave Lone Ranger, mustard, scored here with his very good jacket, crisp topcoat & decent undercoat, lovely typical outline both standing & moving, sound both coming & going, shows to good advantage; 2 Henry’s Dariant Genri Mi Rey at Trinzy, mustard. Not quite the finish of 1 as he is a little short of coat but what he has is a good texture. Lovely head & expression with strong jaws, good ribs & well muscled loin, excellent hind action; 3 Milliner’s Xenon Z Roxburka Sun at Millerim. LD (2) 1 Edwards’ Cloverwood Midnight Blue, pepper, a good moving dog, pleasing masculine head, lovely eye & well proportioned skull, good coat with undercoat, good bone & chest well let down, well ribbed. Just a shade flat in topline; 2 Keevil & Bullock’s Yazga Love The One You’re With, mustard, very typical with a pleasing skull & eye, strong forehand with good bone, good length of rib. Just a shade flat in topline & although sound he was rather sluggish on the move. OD (4) 1 Tinsley’s Ch Cloverwood Royal George, mustard, lovely head & most typical expression, strong muscular neck & good forehand, good depth of chest & strong loin with excellent topline & well carried tail, moves really well with a fluid easy action & shows to best advantage. Although not quite in his best jacket his coat is a good texture, a lovely dog. CC & BOB; 2 Deacon & Pearce’s Ch Cassencarrie I Kid You Not, mustard of good type & balance, very shapely & well muscled & keeps his outline both standing & moving, in very good coat, strong well angulated hindquarters, moved soundly. RCC; 3 Bromley’s Cassencarrie Going Back to Mishahda. PB (2) 1 Nice’s Cassencarrie Cleo Rose, mustard & a real baby of good type & style, pleasing head & kind expression, excellent forehand & very steady on the move with a pleasing easy stride, decent rib & good loin, excellent outline. BP; 2 Richmond’s Cassencarrie Bewitched, mustard & couldn’t quite match the easy fluid action of 1. Good head & typical expression, coat is a good texture & she is shapely & was well handled. JB (2) 1 Fry’s Wivels Weeping Willow, pepper, a smart youngster who was very happy on the table but looked less pleased on the ground. Good head & eye, strong muscular neck & very typical in topline & outline, excellent jacket with crisp outer coat & softer undercoat, sound on the move; 2 Nice’s Cassencarrie Cleo Rose. PGB (6) 1 Henry’s Dariant Grace Mi Solar at Trinzy, mustard, a really good bitch of lovely type & style, shapely & weaselly with a lovely typical outline & strong well muscled hindquarters used well on the move to give an easy fluid action, should easily finish at the top with maturity. RCC; 2 Fry’s Inzievar Gold Thread, another lovely mustard, not quite the showmanship of 1 but a sound honest bitch of good type. Pleasing head & expression, excellent rib & loin, good coat texture, moves well; 3 Milliner’s Millerim Reubis Jeudi. LB (5) 1 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Drama Queen, pepper, very typy, pleasing head & expression, very good outline with typical topline, good tail set & carriage, good depth of chest & decent rib; 2 Fry’s Ludlay Bride of Lammermoor, mustard, good sized skull with strong jaws, good eye, excellent neck & shoulders, very good topline with strong loin, moves soundly; 3 Hamilton’s Maganbar Amber Mist over Margham. OB (4) 1 Deacon’s Ch Cassencarrie Miss Grace at Pennywave, pepper, has a lovely outline & is so sound & positive on the move, strong forehand with good depth of chest & decent rib, very harsh outer coat which could be a shade longer for perfection, good undercoat & presents a most pleasing overall picture. CC; 2 Bromley’s Mishahda Volcanic Storm, a lovely typical bitch in good order, lovely coat, very good, typical outline. Well bodied with good rib & strong loin, moved soundly; 3 Henry’s Deegandan Grace Darling. TOM MATHER |
