We managed to get the judging completed outside, in a large flat, well mown ring, prior to the weather turning. A pleasing turn out of Dandies and I thank you all for your entries, I always enjoy judging this enchanting breed, with their distinctive personalities, temprements as always, were exceptional.

Dandie Dinmont Terrier - Puppy Dog Entries: 4 Absentees: 1

1ST Cloverwood Happy Daze (Mrs J Tinsley) What a quality exhibit to start with, I loved him. This mustard dog has an excellent well proportioned head, with a sparkling dark eye. Excellent dention and tidy ears. Loved his expression. There is nothing overdone in him , he has a good neck, well placed shoulders and the correct topline, with a fine tailset. Balanced and of ggod size. He already has a well defined rear, with good angulation, and hocks well let down. He was spotring an excellent coat for age, with good colour, crisp top coat, thick undercoat and already pencilling. He was faultless on the move, covering the ground cleanly and with purpose from every angle. DCC, BOB, BP

2ND Cloverwood Total Legend (Mr S & Mrs S Bell). A pepper who was Good for overall shape, size and balance. Typical head and expression. Excellent bone and a well made rear assembly. Coat coming through. Good bone and moved tidily.

3RD - Dengate Moonstone (Mrs E & Mr K Hansford)

1ST - Bettyhill New Kid in Town (Miss K & Mrs A Davies & Kettle) A well built mustard, with a typical hea And balanced through body. Pleasing to go over clean shoulders, decent front and smart topline, well made rear with substance and well let down hocks. Well bodied with good ribbing and ample bone. Was sporting a well prepared, crisp, thick and colourful jacket today. Came to life on the move and I couldn’t deny him 1st place based on this, clean and true al lways.

2ND Dashing Top Hat N Tails at Tymeirz (Mrs L J Henry) Another quality young man, but he was not sporting the jacket of 1 today and wasn’t happy on the move at all. He has a lovely head, balanced,with good skull,correct dentition and tidy ears. Clean through neck and well placed shoulders. Good ribbing and well balanced rear.

3RD Puddockswell Cashelblue (Mrs J Giannetti)

1ST Puddockswell What The Dickens of Bleaklee (Mr C & Mrs J Cundall) this guy topped the class, where neither really wanted to perform. This mustard impressed for size and head. Typical outline. Good well defined rear, low hocks and tidy tailset. Jacket ok of good colour.

2ND Puddockswell Carstone (Mrs L & Ms A Riach & Cox-Purcell) more compact than 1 and tidy in outline. Would like a little ore neck, well ribbed and Well angled rear. jacket ok.

1ST - Mydan’d Look What I Found of Puddockswell (Miss J &; Mrs A J Fox & Cox-Purcell). A well presented mustard. A crisp white top knot and pleasing through head with good strong teeth. Ample neck. Clean front and typical topline. Plenty of colour in the jacket which is lust growing in. moved cleanly all ways.

2ND - Puddockswell Screaming J Hawkins (Mrs T & Mrs A Nathan & Cox-Purcell) Tidy genuine type. Good topline held on the move. Typical head amd well placed front. Well angled rear and sporting a good jacket. Moved tidily.

3RD - Dryfevalley Midnight Blue (Miss S K & Miss R L Cruden & Kaye)

1ST Ch Dariant Gladiolus at Karezig (Imp Rus) (Mrs K & Miss M Karlsen & Allenby) This quality pepper was good for size and has a strong masculine head. He has a good neck and a really well made front assembly Build on good proportions, balanced and topline ok with a decent tailset. Looks good on the move, but thought a little sluggish on the final go around, but kept his topline well. RDCC


2ND Ch Etsill Mykillkvi with Tollcross (Mrs M A & Mr P G & Mrs B E Drake & Drake & Kurg). Another pepper male with quality and that typical breed stamp. Typical through head, excellent neck, good front, well ribbed and tidy topline. He has a strong loin and well defined rear, which he put to use on the move. Put down in excellent order.

3RD - Puddockswell Hoodwink (Miss J Fox)

Dandie Dinmont Terrier - Puppy Bitch Entries: 4 Absentees: 1

1ST Lovelettie Full of Beans (Miss H Buckley) mustard, nice for size and overall balance. Feminin through head, ample neck, good topline and ribbing, well angled rear. Moved very well, covering the ground cleanly and with purpose.

2ND Puddockswell Pandemonium NAF (Mrs H King) Pleasing for overall type. Not sporting her best jacket today, however pleased through head and front assembly. Covered the ground.

3RD - Dryfevalley Matilda (Mrs M L Poole) smart and very typey, but was not interested at all on moving on grass today. Hopefully she will soon change as she has promise.

1ST Puddockswell Queen of Scots (Miss J Fox).A pepper. Impressed in head, good eye and ears. Clean neck, stood well back, tidy ribbing and typical outline.moved cleanly covering ground. Jacket ok.

2ND Puddockswell Little Fig (Miss Gr Redman). Another pepper, who was well made, impressed for size and build. Strong head, clean through neck, crisp colourful jacket. Clean topline, strong loin, tailset and well angled throughout. Moved tidily

3RD Dryfevalley Bumble Bee (Mrs A Miller)

1ST Puddockswell Daphne Du Maurier (J & A Saville & Cox-Purcell) Mustard,, puppy, with a good head, well angled front with legs well under. Tidy topline . coat coming through. Moved ok, but a little sloppy behind at this stage.

1ST - Cloverwood As You Like It (Mrs J Tinsley) A quality mustard, who was so clean to go over. Breed standard head, eye, ears, bite and expression. Excellent neck and well laid front assembly. Liked her topline, nothing overdone and strong loin. Clean through ribs, with substance and bone. A strong rear, which was correctly angled. Sporting a well prepared jacket of good texture. Moved with purpose. Just pipped for the top honour. RBCC

2ND - Diddimont Bella Trix of Bleaklee (Mr C & Mrs J Cundall) Good for size, very typical, impressed for balance and topline. Tidy angles front and rear. Not the jacket or ring presence of 1.

Dandie Dinmont Terrier - Open Bitch Entries: 5 Absentees: 1

1ST Ch Danchesters Can You Hear Me Roar for Bonnybeck (Imp Fin) (Miss L Sleight) One I have judged previously and this time she made top honours. She impresses for overall shape and balance. Lovely curves throughout with a correct topline and well angled rear. Typical through head , good front, well ribbed and strong loin. Put down today in good order with a well prepared mustard jacket. She moved steadily and covered the ground.BCC

2ND Ir Ch Puddockswell Cherished at Crumclan Ir Jun Ch (Mrs N M & Mr A J & Mrs A Rooney & Crum & Cox) A smaller frame than 1, but all in proportion and I liked her topline. Pleasing through head, great front, well laid back and strong ribbing. Powell developed rear. Sporting a good jacked. She was well presented and handled to perfection.

3RD 4226 - Cloverwood Magic Minnie (Mrs J Garven)
