DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE BORDER UNION 23

My thanks to the exhibitors who travelled their Dandies such distances in the high temperatures and endured same in the ring. My thanks also for the enthusiastic response to my placings.

PUPPY DOG

1. Cundall's PUDDOCKSWELL WHAT THE DICKENS OF BLEAKLEE - 8 mths Mustard baby. Nice head
and expression with correct bite. Good body shape. A little uncertain on the move. Good type.

JUNIOR DOG

1. Cruden & Kaye's DRYFEVALLEY MIDNIGHT BLUE - Eyecatching Pepper stood out in this class. Nice headpiece, expressive dark eye. Good front assembly and body shape. Well presented coat and topknot. Just right for age. Shows well for his handler. Pleased to award Res CC.

2. Drake, Drake & Kurg's ETSILL MYKILLKVI WITH TOLLCROSS - another nice Pepper youngster with good head and expression. Correct bite. Shown in nice coat. Not quite the body shape of 1. Happy mover.

3. Henry's TYMEIRZ BENIBOUY

LIMIT DOG

1. Karlsen & Allenby's DARIANT GLADIOLUS AT KAREZIG Handsome 2yr old Pepper - Masculine male with real ring presence. Well presented quality coat and topknot. Lovely head and expression, nice neck and front, correct body shape. Such a happy showman, moving well coming and going. Pulled out all the stops to take the CC and BoB.

2. Saville & Cox Purcell's PUDDOCKSWELL LEAD BELLY AT DARCELLIE - 2yrs old Mustard Nice type. Good bone. Well presented quality coat. Not so happy on the move as 1.

PUPPY BITCH

1. Cavanagh's NORA Z ROXBURKU SUN CUM MAGELLANICA - pretty pale Pepper 9 mths baby just full of enthusiasm. Lovely to go over. Sweet head and expression. Nicely proportioned body. Time will settle her on the move.

JUNIOR BITCH

1. Gaven's CLOVERWOOD MAGIC MINNIE - I was so impressed with this 14 mths Mustard young lady. She stood out for her lovely balance of length to height and superb body shape. Beautifully groomed from her lovely head and topknot to the tip of her tail. In the class she was a bit unsettled on the move but when it came to the challenge she wss full of confidence. I was delighted to award her first CC and feel sure there will be more to follow!

2. Rooney's PUDDOCKSWELL CHERISHED AT CRUMCLAN - Mustard youngster just out of puppy and looking very much the baby beside 1 Not the outline and presentation but is a sound mover and was well handled.

GRADUATE BITCH

1. Miller's DRYFEVALLEY VELMA DINKLEY - stood alone in this class. 2yrs jolly Mustard who was enjoying every minute of her day. Not in her best jacket but is a well balanced and sound mover.

LIMIT BITCH - a nice class

1. Buckley's JOLLYGAZE QUIZZICAL FOR LOVELETTIE - Smart 2yrs Pepper of good type. Well constructed with good front, nicely shaped body, moves with drive. Has real ring presence and is well handled and presented.

3. Allenby's WILMIT MILDRED POTTER FOR DIDDIMONT.

VETERAN BITCH

1. Saville's Ir.CH.PUDDOCKSWEĹL MAUDIE MAC - stood alone in this class and by this stage Maudie, judge and exhibitor were all feeling worse for wear due to the heat and I was reluctant to send her moving too much but she moved very steadily flying the vetersn flag! This pepper lady now 8 yrs was enjoying her day out. Pretty headpiece with lovely expression, nice neck and front. Nicely presented coat, though at the veteran quality stage. Sympathetically handled by her sporting owner
