Many thanks to the Officers and Committee for asking me to judge Dandie Dinmont Terriers at their show as the original judge had to withdraw from judging.

PD (2)

1 Buckley. Lovelettie Fullof Beans. 8 months old Mustard Male. Lovely outline on this young male. His head is developing well, and ear set on correct. Correct scissor bite. Dark eyes set wide apart. Neck is strong and developing well. Well laid shoulders with short forelegs and feet pointing forward. Long body with slight rsie over the loin. Hindlegs a little longer than front and set wide apart. His feet are well padded and tail set on correct. Coat is coming on well and and he moved with purpose. BPIB

2 Tinsley. Glahms The Canadian at Cloverwood. Another mustard boy and much of the same applies. He just was not at one with his handler on the day.

JD (2,1)

1 Henry. Dashing Top Hat N Tails at Tymeriz. A pepper boy. Lots to like about this young male. He has a strong head, broad skull, narrowing towards the eyes. Forehead well domed. Eyes are dark and set wide apart. Correct scissor bite and ears are hanging close to cheeks. Neck is well set leading into well laid shoulders. Good body and tail set on correct Moved with drive. Coat of correct texture. R D.C.C and best junior.

2. Dolby. Regreet Coldstream Guards into Poundfrox. Mustard male and much of the same applies. His rear movement was not as true as my winner.

OD (5,4)

1 Butchers, Ch Mishada Mischief Managed. A mustard male that fulfils the breed type. Good head and dark eyes. Correct scissor bite and ears set close to cheeks, Good strong neck, leading into well laid shoulders. Good strong body and well let down between the forelegs. Nice rise over the loin. Feet are round and well padded. Good double coat and tail set on correct. Dog CC.

PB (3,2)

1 Buckley. Lovelettie Full of Beans. What a charming 8 months old mustard puppy. She Is the litter sister to the puppy dog. Much of the same applies. Her movement on the day was not as true as her brothers, but it was very warm.

YB (2,1)

1 Butchers. Bonnybeck I’M no Muggle at Huffletuft. What a lovely pepper bitch. Her head is strongly made but in no way masculine. Correct scissor bite. Lovely dark eyes. Ears hanging close to cheeks.Good neck leading into well laid shoulders. Good front and well padded feet. Tail set on correct with a slight rise over the loin. Moved soundly.

OB (5,2)

1 Tinsley. Ch Cloverwood Here comes Lulu 2 year old Pepper bitch. What can I say that hasn’t been said before. Her head is of the correct proportions, and she has the correct front assembly. Good body and presented in perfect condition and moved so soundly. Bitch CC and B.O.B and Terrier Group 2

2 Jackman. Dryfevalley Willow at Carnkie. 2 yearr old mustard bitch. She has a good head and dark eyes. Correct scissor bite. Strong neck leading into well laid shoulders. Good body with a good spring of rib. Well let down front and a slight rise over the loin. Round padded feet and she moved soundly. Unlucky to meet my winner today.
