DANDIE DINMONT BLACKPOOL 11 Judge(s) MRS SUE MCCOURT DCC SWANWILLOW SEA CAPTAIN (MR T W & MRS J SHORE) Dandie Dinmont Terriers Thank you for the lovely entry at this my first time awarding CCs in one of my favourite breeds. PD (4) 1 Shore’s Swanwillow Clarion Call, what a star this dog will be when matures, wonderful head, good neck & shoulders, correct topline & movement cannot be faulted, harsh jacket coming in nicely, good tail carriage. BP; 2 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Royal George, well bodied youngster but not fat! Lovely shaped body with good muscletone, very appealing head & expression, put down to perfection as always from this kennel; 3 Smith’s Glendandy Star Maker. YD (4) 1 Morris’ Cassencarrie Rumour Has It at Pennywave, nice headed with lovely dark eye, keeps topline both standing & on move, very smart, in good coat; 2 Irving’s Dandyhow Dexter, very sound youngster with really harsh coat, scored over 3rd on outline; 3 Bromley’s Mishahda Volcanic Storm. PGD (3) 1 Sleight’s Cassencarrie Bobby Vee, sound well made dog, in good coat & condition, well handled. LD (4) 1 Shore’s Swanwillow Sea Captain, very attractive young male who in no way is exaggerated, fits the Standard so well, lovely head & expression, good neck & shoulders into correctly shaped body, good tailset & a harsh jacket completes the picture, moved around the ring so well. CC, his 2nd, & I am sure that final one will not be far away; 2 Hunter’s Etsill Scapa Flow, very close decision between 2 & 3 but this dog had the better jacket; 3 Hansford’s Cassencarrie Bonnie Lad. OD (2) 1 Deacon’s Ch Cassencarrie Ces’t La View, pepper who gave a lot away in age. Good jacket, lovely head, eye & expression, well presented. RCC; 2 Skitt & Jones’ Vistca Vincent, very sound honest dog with a lot to like about him. PB (4) 1 Shore’s Swanwillow She’s Hot, gave her handler a hard time but could not be denied her placing. So pretty & feminine, beautiful head & expression, lovely shaped body & when she decides to moves really well; 2 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Sparkling Silver, very attractive pepper who gave a lot away in age but has so much promise; 3 Smith’s Glendandy Twinkle Star. YB (3) 1 Ray’s Dentgate Sweet Symphony, nicely shaped, good head & expression, lovely temperament. Just needs a little more time for her jacket to come in; 2 Heywood’s Cloverwood Day By Day at Schalulleke, slightly smaller than 1 but in good coat & condition; 3 Sleight’s Cassencarrie Madelaina. PGB (4) 1 Booth’s Cloverwood Candlelight, pretty mustard with good head, eye & expression, nice forehand, handled well; 2 Marshall’s Deegandan Lavender of Dun Eideann, nice sort but carrying a little too much weight which spoilt her chances. LB (6) 1 Tinsley’s Cloverwood Sizzling Gold, wow, she sure does sizzle! Glamorous, in lovely coat & condition, good head, eye & expression, lovely front construction & excellent rear end, moved really well & was sympathetically handled, very well presented. RCC; 2 Morris’ Pennywave Amaryllis, well presented mustard of nice type. Just moving a little close behind but the ground was not the best for short legged dogs; 3 Hunter’s Etsill Inganess Bay. OB (3) 1 Tinsley’s Ch Cloverwood Lemon Drizzle, what a lovely bitch this is, it was a pleasure to judge her, head is textbook with eyes that would melt the hardest heart, great neck & shoulders, good correct topline, moves really well & never stops showing for her handler, so well presented. CC & BOB; 2 Russell’s Aust Ch Jollygaze Hopeless Romantic for Hawkesmill, very stylish pepper that was in no way disgraced in this company, well presented & will surely soon get her UK title.
