DANDIE DINMONT JUDGE BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 16

Dandie Dinmont T:

PD (2)

1. Miller & Cox-Purcell’s Puddockswell Augustus Magnussen. Pepper, strong head developing with great expression, nice neck and shoulders, good body profile, in good coat, moving slightly close behind. BP.

2. Drake’s Tollcross Tartan Tavish. Not as forward as 1, nice head, very good bite with large white teeth, nice body shape, a little loose in movement.

PGD (4.1)

1. Booth’s Borderstone Kingman for Lannia. Well balanced Pepper with dignified and aloof appearance with just a touch of arrogance, good head with broad skull, well domed with good topknot, well muscled shoulders, well sprung ribs, good body shape, carried tail well on the move, handler just needs to believe in herself and her charge more. Res DCC.

2. Bamber’s Dentgate Mutuca Indicolite. Another all male exhibit and with good awareness and ring presence, but preferred outline of 1.

3. Wager’s Inzievar Border Silver.

LD (4)

1. Jacka-Slater’s Pennywave Lone Ranger. Nice size and well muscled dog with good overall balance, well defined head, with dark eye and well set ears, well set shoulders, in very good coat, moved OK.

2. Kurg’s Hawkesmill Jefferson at Etsill. Pepper with good head and expression, solidly built throughout, very good rear quarters and angulation which produced sound driving movement.

3. Bell’s Hawkesmill Indigo from Reidswire.

OD (3.1)

1. Tinsley’s German Dandies Terence Hill at Cloverwood. Mustard dog of good size and shape, very nice head complimented by good topknot, clean cut front, nicely made body with good tail set and carriage, which held well on the move, moved out with style and purpose, coat in very good condition. DCC.

2. Gregg’s Ir Ch. Dariant Lui Vencedor Di Mi Soul at Bambusa. Solidly built dog but preferred the shape and outline of 1, well proportioned head, muscular neck, well developed body, not always giving 100% on the move.

PB (2)

1. Drake’s Tollcross Thistedown. Pepper who won thios class on overall size and shape, head still to finish but of good proportions, body coming on well, a little lose behind.

2. Milton’s Puddockswell Hot Lips at Wilmit. Not always wanting to help her handler and tending to fly ears to the side at times which detracted from her expression, moving close behind.

JB (1)

1. Buckley’s German Dandies Viloetta. Handler worked hard to get the best out of this girl, soundly made, nicely domed skull, good front, tidy feet, held topline well on the move and moved with purpose.

PGB (3.1)

1. Garratt’s Cloverwood Wish upon a Star. Heavily built bitch but of good proportions, strong head with good expression, very good coat, moved out well.

2. Powis & Wallen’s Siwop Black Baccara Rose. Seemed not wanting to put everything in , would like a little more strength in muzzle to complete the head picture, needs to firm up in rear movement.

 LB (3.1)

1. Jacka-Slater’s Cloverwood Duchess May. Mustaerd with very good head, well set eye, large back nise and well set ears giving typical expression and appearance, nice body shape, good tail set and carriage, coat in very good order, moved out well.

2. Miler’s Dryfevalley Minnie The Minx. Feminine appearance, would like a little more pigmentation to enhance expression, nice body shape, rear movement could be more positive.

OB (8.3)

 1. Milton’s Ch Hawkesmill Jenny for Wilmit.  Attractive and most appealing Pepper bitch, nice size and not exaggerated in any area, head compliments overall appearance, super outline, moved with ease and style. Bitch CC and BOB.

2. Jarvis’ Inzievar Summer Gold at Mosterlada. A little heavier built than 1 but all in proportion, nice head, good topline, coat in very good order, moved true. Res BCC.

3. Gregg’s Ir Ch Ellabeth Amabilisdandie at Bambusa.
