CESKY JUDGE WINDSOR 09

Cesky Terriers

I was delighted with the entry, it certainly was the biggest number of Cesky I have judged. I realise that I changed type between dogs & bitches which may have seemed odd to some ringside but I felt that the quality in males was of a different type than the bitches.

Overall I was very impressed with the depth of quality

JD (1)

1 Burrows’ Pendevour Pascal, smart young dog of lovely size & substance for age, very good head, well placed ears. Could have a bigger ribcage. Topline good but tail was a bit high set. RBD.

PGD (1)

1 Burrows’ Rossau Poet, good masculine dog, pleasing bone & substance. Touch strong in skull. Good body length & a sound mover. Coat could be better.

OD (3)

1 Richardson’s Talyot Damocles, smart showy dog, made a lovely shape when standing, pleasing head with lovely eye but could be a little longer. Excellent coat & presentation. Moved soundly but was spoilt by tail carriage. BD;

2 Marett’s Lastarean Kral of Zidout, good masculine dog, touch strong in skull. Good sound mover with correct topline but not giving his best;

3 Burnett’s Woodstrode Drak of Kohima.

V (4)

1 Marett’s Malsville Lincoln Ridley, lovely bitch, kept good shape & outline standing & moving, excellent ribcage, strong loin, moved well. RBB & VB;

2 Marett’s Gayteckels Highflyer, silver bitch, lovely size & shape, pleasing head. Could be stronger in foreface. Excellent ribcage, in good muscletone, moved soundly;

3 Fewings’ Twister Kvitko Komidion.

JB (2)

1 Tobijanski & Jones’ Janski Martyna with Zippor, liked this bitch very much, did not perform well but was ideal size & substance. Pleasing head, very good front, correct set of neck;

2 England’s Sametova Angelique at Ashleyheath, feminine bitch, good outline, nice eye & expression but could be stronger in underjaw. Very good coat. Touch weak on the move.

PGB (5,2)

1 Burrage’s Vandell Sweet Song of Sametova, eyecatching bitch, lovely feminine head, good ribcage, correct topline when standing, moved with good purpose;

2 England’s Davcar Rabble Rouser at Ashleyheath, silver bitch in good condition. Not as good in head as 1 but lovely body shape with good ribcage. Lost out on movement;

3 Burnett’s Woodstrode Elba of Kohima.

OB (3)

1 Fewings’ Komidion Jacara, strong well made bitch but still feminine, loved her body shape standing & moving, good ribcage, strong loin, correct tail set & carriage. A little more animation would be a bonus. BOB;

2 Burrage’s Talyot Camille De Sametova, feminine bitch of lovely shape. Could have a touch more substance. Lovely head & expression, excellent coat. Topline could have been stronger on the move;

3 Richardson & Kavanagh’s Talyot Foxglove.
