CESKY JUDGE NATIONAL TERRIER 26

I was delighted to judge at the National Terrier Show. There is still a size difference throughout the breed; coats and grooming have improved. A few of the exhibits which have the correct dentition had, to my eyes, smaller teeth, something we need to watch. V-shaped ears are a must.

Vet

1 Rodgers & Dukes Janski Theodore by Runiks. On the top size, slightly wide in front, broad in skull, moved out well and in good coat, obviously a male Cesky, BV.

MPD

1 Bishop - Baudolin Tobi Terpet for Kyntilly (Imp Cze), well put together, moved with drive, strong mouth, good to type, very promising, BP.

JD

1 Richardson & Wilson Alchemy Like a Hurricane, colour typical for this kennel, in proportion all over, a little wide behind on the stand but moved correctly, well balanced, topline a little straight.

LD

1 Bishop Ulmo Bohemia des Heauteurs de la Sole at Kyntilly, slightly unhappy which spoilt his expression, dark eye, good-sized teeth, moved well.

OD

1 Tobijanski Ch Janski O'roloxjw 1st, moved out with drive, good expression, strong dentition, balanced, correct topline, CC;

2 Burrage Ch Sametova Bacary, eye-catching boy on the stand but on the move scurried which spoilt his movement, good head in proportion to his body, RCC.

MPB

1 Burrage Galbraith Galaneia NAF TAF, delightful girl, good neck, moved really well, correct tail set and ear shape.

PB

1 Lees Ridley Bronya, still very dark, all in proportion, moved out just as she should, very promising.

JB

1 Goodwin Bleuetopia Arsha, slight girl but well muscled, head could be stronger, moved out well, lovely temperament.

LB

1 Goodwin Placido Oriana at Bleuetopia, another well-made bitch, good backend, tail placement a little high, ears good size but need to be more V-shaped, moved out well.

OB

1 Tobijanski Janski Zara Zipporah, smaller than some but very nice, good reach of neck, moved out well with style and drive, correct topline, CC, BOB;

2 Rodgers Ch Placido Musical Miracle at Runkins, larger than 1st, a little less feminine, moved well, balanced and good to type, thought the rise over the loin rather straight, RCC.
