CESKY JUDGE LEEDS 10

Cesky Terriers

A nice opportunity to go over this entry, they are not the easiest breed to judge & I tried to choose dogs of the right lines & substance for the breed.

PD

1 Rossau Voodoo, quality headed dog of 10 months, good body shape & topline, quarters & rear action, scored in ears. Can fill out a little in front which shows in front action. Needs time for coat;

2 Nordham Misty Moonlight, 11 months, scoring in coat & has a lot of quality, a touch heavier in build & not as good in ears. With more confidence he can do well, as just a touch reluctant to show off his virtues, but scores in movement & front over 1

PGD

1 Janski Born To Be Wild, a little heavy all through for my interpretation of the Standard, but he is sound & well constructed & has good movement, good coat & colour, correct curves to his topline;

2 Oneva Edouard Malsville, of good size, correct bone & shape to body, good head, better size & well constructed. Rather diffident in showing himself off. However, scored in front assembly & movement over

3 Nordham Singing The Blues.

OD

1 Polede Lforluka, elegant dog, full of type & had balance & the correct topline on the table, light movement, good stride, refined head. Could be a little more confident, but for me he was the best male of the day;

2 Duffy Do Champ D’Oeil avec Poulede, lovely head & forehand. A touch flat in topline which is a little too long. Moved well;

3 Lastarean Dufak.

PB

1 Rossau Time Will Tell at Kilbarchan, 9 months, lovely size & proportions to body, feminine head. A touch short in foreface. Good ears, topline & rear action.

JB

1 Komidian Madrigal, I liked her a lot for shape, balance & proportions. Can tighten a little in front. Excellent head, eye & ears, full of type, one for the future, she has real type & I considered her strongly. The open bitches just more finished.

PGB

1 Lastarean Kama, good for size, proportions & topline. A little narrow in chest. Scored heavily in coat, colour & movement, good head type;

2 Oneva Erica of Karensbrae, feminine bitch, good skull & foreface. A little small in eye. Topline & coat colour did not appeal. Good rear action. A little lacking in confidence.

OB

Best class of the day for depth of quality.

1 Janski Celtic Ceska, excellent shape & movement, full of type, very good topline held on the move with correct carriage. I wouldn’t want her any heavier in body, but she appealed greatly. Coat & colour excellent. BOB;

2 Gloria Kuitko, 9 years, lovely type, beautiful size & balance, lovely head. Not the front action of 1. RBB;

3 Komidion Jacara.
