Cesky Terriers

Very pleasing entry of 36. Dismayed to find many timid dogs! No apologies for taking my time & going over them carefully.

I found variable sizes & some level toplines not characteristic to the Cesky. Overall presentation superb. My thanks.

MPD (3)

1 Rusby’s Placido Basileus, 9 months, head of good proportion, nice expression, larger in size, well angulated, moved well behind;

2 England’s Ashleyheaths Black Thunder, just 6 months, smaller type, lovely head with alert expression, nicely proportioned bodywise. A little overwhelmed & unfortunately not moving well today;

3 England’s Ashleyheaths Blackenrain.

PD (3,1a)

1 Gay & Atter’s Grancek Otaker Malsville, smaller type again, super head, good expression & correct dentition, nicely matured for 9 months. Correct topline, moved well, confident puppy. BP;

2 O’Hanlan & Montford’s Komidion Overture, different type to 1 but all in proportion. Well presented but his lack of confidence did not help show himself.

JD (0).

PGD (3)

1 Rusby’s Grancek Modry Mraz at Placido, silver dog, good head & ear placement, nice straight front, deep chest, plenty of body, rise over loin, moved well;

2 Burrows’ Pendevour Pierrot, lovely head, good expression, good neck & shoulder, well bodied, nicely presented. Just a little flat today;

3 Forbes’ Blackthorpe River Musk at Lastarean.

OD (4,1)

1 Burrows’ Pendevour Pascal, good size & type, super head & expression, good neck leading into well placed shoulder, correct length of back & rise over loin, strong behind & used this to advantage. He flew around the ring. BD;

2 Atter & Bowerman’s Ridley Tomas, good head, alert expression, well muscled & toned, good topline & tailset, nicely presented, moved well;

3 Richardson & Wilson’s Can Ch Alchemy Chalma Figaro Talyot.

VD (2,1)

1 Burrows’ Rossau Poet, 7½ years, larger but nice type. Strong head & neck, well laid shoulders, good outline, moved well & enjoyed himself.

GCD (1)

1 Gay & Atter’s Dk Ch Oneva Edward Malsville, nice size, super head & expression that commands attention. Super neck & shoulders, correct body length & good rise over loin, well presented & moved well. RBD.

MPB (2)

1 Roberts & Smith’s Placido Beryl The Peryl at Rayol, 8 months, good head, lovely dark eye, correct dentition, proportions good, very much a baby, moved quite well;

2 Rusby’s Placido Barbaretta, litter sister to MPD winner. Very similar in quality & good size, very nicely put together. Lost out today as a little shy. Shows much promise.

PB (3)

1 Roberts & Smith’s Placido Algebra at Rayol, head of good proportions, good front & length of back, strong rear end, moved well, nicely presented;

2 Rusby’s Grancek Olena at Placido, litter sister to my BP. Feminine head & good ear set, lovely expression, nice size, deep chest, good rise over loin, nice type, moved OK;

3 Tobijanski’s Dedina Del Monte De Haya De Janski.

JB (1)

1 Tobijanski’s Janski Kuralan, good head & front, nice size, good outline, super presentation, moved OK as unsettled.

PGB (6)

1 Rusby’s Rylandson Zelenty Mora at Placido, feminine head of good proportions & super expression. Good size & well boned, correct topline & moved with drive, well presented. RBB;

2 Withers’ Hello Dolly Du Champ D’eole, good head & expression, nice straight front, deep body, good size & correct topline, moved well, nicely presented;

3 Thomson’s Oneva Eliska with Karensbrae.

OB (5,2)

1 Atter’s Czech/Dan Ch Ridley Pamatka, smaller type, very feminine, super head & dark eye, uses her ears well, nice & deep in body, correct size, kept topline, moved with drive. Close for RBB;

2 Harris’ Pendevour Pheel The Music of Kessima, nice type & size, head of good proportions, strong neck leading into good front, moved with purpose;

3 Forbes’ Oneva Erica of Karensbrae.

VB (2)

1 Tobijanski’s Janski Celtic Ceska, what a credit to owner & the breed, she fills the eye with all the quality of the Cesky. Moves with drive & covers the ground in a flash. BV & BOB;

2 Thomson’s Lastarean Bavinka, 9 years & moves like a youngster. Feminine head, lovely expression, nice size & type, in super condition.

GCB (1)

1 O Eliska with K, silver in colour which immediately attracts attention. Nice type, feminine & nicely put together, moved well, nicely presented.
