CESKY JUDGE EAST OF ENGLAND 18
I would like to offer my sincere thanks to all the exhibitors for giving me the utmost
pleasure of evaluating your lovely breed. Considering there were no CC’s on offer, the
entry was tip top in both quality and numbers. This appointment really felt like a case of
Déjà vu, my two principle winners being the same exhibits as when I judged the club show
a couple of years ago and testament to the longevity of this delightful breed, my BOB is
now well into double figures! Thankfully we were lucky enough to be in the shade in one
of the buildings at this show on one of the hottest days of the year; the heat was really
quite oppressive.
I’m pleased to report there was only one exhibit with a less than perfect mouth and all had
well-padded feet and coats of good texture.

1st TOBIJANSKI’S JANSKI BUGUROVSKI, at 7 months still very much a baby he has some
brindling at present and a small white bib. He has a pleasing head, good length to his neck
and is ok for bone and topline. A promising pup. BP.
2nd DUKES JANSKI THEODORE, litter brother to 1st, larger all round and slightly longer
backed, not quite the presentation of 1 but nevertheless a very nice pup.

1st TOBIJANSKI’S ALCHEMY IT'S MY PARTY AT JANSKI (IMP CAN) 15 Months black of the
same type as the puppy winner. He has strength to his head with a dark eye and a nice
expression, he has a clean neck and is good for ribbing. Moving well.
2nd DUKES JANSKI THEODORE.

1st TAYLOR’S JANSKI OSSIE JONES AT POLEDE, a stylish silver grey with a good length to his
head and well set ears, super front, a soft curve over the loin and good for furnishings.
However I would prefer a little more weight to complete the picture. Moving well out and
back.
2nd MARETT’S GAYTECKELS BAK IN THE ABBOTT, 3 ½ years male I have judged as a pup, he
is larger all through but not the front assembly or rear movement of 1st. He has a
masculine head, strength in loin and very muscular quarters.

1 This class caused me the biggest headache of the day, although of
differing types these are top class males.
1st TOBIJANSKI’S JANSKI CESKASSON BLUE MOON, as stated before, I have awarded him
well on a previous occasion and am happy to do so again; the same remarks apply. He has
an excellent head & expression, scores in neck, shoulders and body and a good length of
back; to be picky would prefer a tad more rise over the loin. He has strong quarters which
he used to power around the ring, all topped off with a good coat and presentation is tip
top. He is fully mature, so masculine, and at the top of his game. BD.
2nd MARETT’S IDEFIX DAY BREAK AT GAYTECKELS, another I have done well before
awarding a group although he is top size. No mistaking his sex, he has a good outline with
an expressive head, good neck & shoulder and using his muscular rear to move out with
drive. Res BD.
3rd BURRAGE & ENGLAND’S ASHLEYHEATH'S BLACK THUNDER, I must mention this male
as he is maturing well and I’m sure these three will have changed places on other
occasions. Spot on to the breed standard, his movement is truly “brisk and vigorous” plus
he is turned out to perfection.

1st BURRAGE & ENGLAND’S SHASGAV NOTHIN ELSE MATTERS BY ASHLEYHEATH, 19
months black, beautiful feminine girl with such a pleasing outline, good head & eye,
elegant neck, well laid shoulders and in beautiful coat. Moving well.
2nd GAYTECKELS SISTER ACT, OK for make and shape, well balanced, but a rather
masculine girl and a tad wide in front. She is very well-muscled up and in hard condition.

1st MARETT’S GAYTECKELS BOTTOMS UP, another from this kennel displaying hard,
muscular condition. She has a pleasing profile, enough length to her head with good ear
placement, perhaps a tad more length on her neck would complete the picture. She has
ample bone, is good for ribbing, a strong loin and moving with purpose.
2nd BURRAGE’S KOMIDION PRIMA DONNA OF SAMETOVA, an elegant girl all through with
slight brindling through her coat, she has good body lines, well laid shoulders, well sprung
ribs and presentation par excellence but was very slightly favouring a leg on the move
today.
3rd WILLIAMS & JACKSON’S EUPHORIASTAFF CELESTE AT WHERRYPOINT, she has a very
pretty head with good ear placement, is well balanced with a good topline; there is much
to like about her but just preferring the strength, animation and presentation of the
previous two today.

1st BURRAGE’S KOMIDION NIGHT MUSIC AT SAMETOVA SHCM, another very classy and
elegant dark grey bitch. She has a dark eye on her shapely head, a good length of neck,
correct front, strength in loin and using her muscular quarters to propel her around the
ring. Super presentation. Res BB.
2nd FEWINGS KOMIDION PASSIONATO, a very typy young lady this yearling is not
overdone in any way. She is good for balance with a lovely profile, she has well laid
shoulders, a gentle curve over the loin and a strong backend, a lovely bitch but just
preferring the profile of 1 today.
3rd TOBIJANSKI’S JANSKI ULTRA VIOLET SHCM another quality bitch in this super line up,
sound as a pound and moving well.

1st BURRAGE’S VANDELL SWEET SONG OF SAMETOVA SHCM, my star of the day this bitch
just gets better and better and her personality plus absolutely shone though, which is
always a plus in Group competition. As I have said before she has such a stunning outline
giving a series of graceful curves throughout. Although of a smaller size than some, she
oozes quality in such a neat package. She has a pleasing head & eye, lovely neck, correct
body proportions and is well muscled all through. Moving out at quite a pace, she is so
well schooled and in tune with her handler who also presents her in tip top condition.
What a showgirl, I wish she were mine. BOB, BV and so pleased to see her take Veteran
Group 2.
2nd TAYLOR’S E'FRENCH CONNECTION DU CHAMP D'EOLE VIA POLEDE, although not
showing herself off today she is very well turned out, nicely balanced with good angulation
fore & aft and with abundant feathering on her silky coat.
