CESKY BOURNEMOUTH 09 Judge: Miss J Lanning CESKY JUDGE BOURNEMOUTH 09 Cesky Terriers A pleasure to judge this very pleasing entry of this interesting breed. I have long been aware of the breed having judged them from time to time in variety competition & abroad at FCI shows. Their handy size & manageable coats have established them with a firm group of fans. I found it interesting that my main winners were closely connected. Although based on a very small gene pool, this is bound to be the case. This is a straightforward breed with no exaggerations & one hopes that it will stay that way. My notes are brief on the winners. As a breed they are so typy & only separated by small detail. PD & JD (0). PGD (2) 1 Burrows’ Rossau Poet, smart, moving out well, good topline; 2 Taylor’s Duffy Du Champ D’eole avec Polede, bigger mould, has the quality. LD (3) 1 Burrows’ Pendevour Pascal, well balanced, moving out well, good body & topline; 2 Fraser’s Woodstrode Artus, well presented, good head & eye. Not so good in topline; 3 Taylor’s Polede Lforluka. OD (8) 1 Fewings’ Twister Kvitko Komidion, smart, well balanced, moving out well, positive in front & hind action, good body, lovely pattern of the breed. BOB; 2 RBD, Lewis’ Komidion Fanfare Dajaces, same excellent type. Not moving with the aplomb of his sire; 3 Marett’s Ridley Javor. PB & JB (0). PGB (4,1) 1 Harris’ Pendeavour Pheelthemusic, well balanced, smart, good topline. BB; 2 Atter’s Ridley Pamatka, lovely quality, good head & eye, sound mover, close up; 3 Burrage’s Talyot Camille de Sametova. LB (8) 1 Withers’ Pajanticks Cforcharlie, smart, so feminine, good front, strong quarters, moving well; 2 Burrage’s Vandell Sweet Song of Sametova, good pattern, same quality as above, close up; 3 Bowerman’s Woodstrode Eliska. OB (6) 1 Fewings’ Komidion Jacara, dark eye, correct topline, excellent quality. RBB; 2 Marett’s Malsville Lincoln Ridley, same excellent type. Not putting all in; 3 Marett’s Gayteckels Highflyer.
