CESKY JUDGE BIRMINGHAM NATIONAL 19

MPD (2, 1)

1 Taylor’s Oural Du Champ D’eole. Very stiff and unsure on the table, but I went over him ok. Lovely head and eyes, ears set nicely high with a break over the top of his skull. Excellent body shape and quarters. Tail low set. Sound in rear, but can still tighten in front. Would like to see a better trim, with more hair left on his body and much less leg hair.

PD (1)

1 Tobijanski’s Janski Duggee NAF. Great character and he stands well. Liked his head, eyes and ears. Strong neck, front is set a little too far forward. Grand bone, typy in topline and tail set low, even though he is a happy boy he kept it down. Trimming poor and not typical.

PGD (1)

1 Halling’s Grancek Slavny Sandor. So powerful and fit throughout. I really admire that! Super head and ears, great temperament. Ok in front and he has the typical front of the early imports. When we then liked a more Scottie front with the front legs more to the side of the body and not so much underneath. Moved true in front. Topline runs up too much to a high set tail. Excellent quarters and muscle tone. Poorly trimmed.

LD (3)

1 Withers’ Nesta Du Champ D’Eole. CC. Lovely boy a bit overawed with the noise in the hall, he moved superbly and stood well. Good head and ear set, not surprised to find he was a French import, as they certainly seem to be doing the best breeding in Europe. Sound front, well boned legs and good feet. Excellent well muscled quarters, with a typical topline and low set tail. Expertly trimmed and presented as was second. He totally went to pieces in the challenge for BOB. Guess he will be better outside in the summer shows.

2 Rusby’s Placido Forever Mine. Just a little too straight in topline and tail set higher. Loved his temperament, and he moved out strongly and with some style. Also admired his coat and presentation of the best.

3 Marett’s Gayteckels Bak In The Abbott.

OD (6)

1 England & Burrage’s Ch Ashleyheath’s Black Thunder ShCM. Res CC. Good size and proportions of height to length. Very fit as were nearly the whole entry, which was a delight to feel. Good head and neck, reasonable front, with well boned legs. Topline could be a little more typy, but it was by no means flat on top. Excellent rear. Moved much too fast and legs flying in every direction. Most all coats in this class were presented properly.

2 Tobijanski’s Ch Janski Kalliope Jones. More typical in topline perhaps. Pleasing head, strong neck, ok in body and loin. Sound behind too. Tending too much towards the Sealyham in type maybe, but still very handsome. Excellent coat presentation.

3 Richardson & Wilson’s Ch/Can Ch Alchemy Chalma Figaro Talyot.

SBB (1) 1 Samson’s Opera Boheme Des Hauteurs De La Sole. Sweet girl, typy head, excellent pigment, good front and body coming on well. Needs to grow into her quarters a lot more, as she is exceptionally well angulated there. Promising.

MPB (3)

1 Tobijanski’s O’girl Du Champ D’eole At Janski. BP. Feminine and nice for size, Ears could break over skull a little bit but they are quite high set, and she uses them well. Excellent head, pigment and eye placement is good and she has the friendly expression desired. Correct topline, owner needs more help with coat presentation as nothing left on body, just a skirt of hair. Very good rear mover too.

2 Richardson’s Talyot Kali. Smart and showing herself off well for 8 mths old. She too needs a better trim, it really doesn’t do them any favours to have a huge skirt, and masses of leg hair. A little flatter in topline than winner, but promising for strength and size too.

3 Pearson’s Zvonenka Hamentashen At Winoski.

JB (1)

1 Thomson & Forbes’ Euphoriastaff Houska With Karensbrae. Really good bitch, totally spoilt but being extremely thin and not in any sort of good condition. Her make and shape are lovely, and she is beautifully muscled up, so she is getting correct exercise, just not enough food. She should be kept out of completion until she gains normal weight.

PGB (2)

1 Samson’s Shasgav My Immortal.Nicely constructed with a sound front, good forechest, strong neck. Excellent head relatively long with slight stop. Too flat in back and tail set too high. She does have some body coat, but not quite enough. If her tail was lower she would do very well indeed I think.

2 Rusby’s Placido Justa Diamond. Rather forward in front build, and stands over wide. Liked her head and ears. Running up in topline to a high set on of tail, although she does carry it down. Coat well presented, and she moves with verve.

LB (2)

1 Marett’s Gayteckels Sister Act. A wee bit masculine, but so strong, fit and rugged. Liked her head and ears carried close to cheeks. Well rounded neck, reasonable front, with excellent bone and feet. Tail set on high but not so high as second in the class! Moved with some strength and power, coat in good order too.

2 Samson’s Shasgav Sound Of Silence ShCM. Great character, who was so enjoying herself. Also admired her head and ear placement. Tidy front, and well ribbed back. Topline should slope down more over croup, and tail set lower. Very precise moving up and down.

OB (4, 1)

1 Harris’ Kessima Magic Moments. CC, BOB. Beautifully presented by a master Czech groomer I imagine, showing just how the breed should look. Although I do not judge solely on coats as it would appear from this critique. It is really a pleasure to see one so well turned out. Her head inclines to the Sealyham ancestors, and her ears could break a little higher. Super front and body for the breed, and such powerful impressive quarters. Brisk, vigorous, driving mover and very precise too up and down. Delighted to have such a quality bitch present today.

2 Burrage’s Komidion Night Music At Sametova ShCM. Smart bitch, typical ear carriage, ok in front and body is excellent. Topline a touch flatter than winner, her body condition and muscle tone are perfect. Coat should have been left on her sides.

3 Marett’s Gayteckels Bottoms Up.

VB (3)

1 Tobijanski’s Ch Janski Ultra Violet Best Veteran. Res CC. Loved her type and size, she is well put together, stands beautifully with her legs well under the body. Moved very soundly all ways. Rather too thin and ribby on the day. Excellent topline and quarters, and for her age so nicely muscled. I did admire her a lot. Coat trim a bit severe, especially as she was thin.

2 Marett’s Lastarean Grace And Favour For Gayteckels PdH. Well bodied, and a real credit to her owner for her super condition. Rather forward in shoulder, excellent head and ear set, good in topline sweep, and she too has power in rear.

3 Taylor’s E’french Connection Du Champ D’eole Via Polede.
