CESKY JUDGE BATH 13

Cesky Terriers

This is a charming breed, I always enjoy judging. Here the quality was there & a lot depended on how the exhibit performed.

PD (1)

1 Tobijanski’s Janski Kalliope Jones, he may have been alone, but could have still been at the top in quality company. A little cracker, full of personality, balanced with sound construction, just clean & shapely throughout, has a super expression & strong underjaw, a pleasure to watch go. RBD, BP & PG2.

JD (2)

Two grand ones.

1 Dooner’s Ridley Ulicnik, this 12 month old is so masculine, loved his head with correct length of skull, & strength in foreface but still forming a blunt triangle, ears set high contributing to expression, strong clean neck into correctly proportioned body with well arched loin, good presentation & silky sheen to coat;

2 Tobijanski’s Janski Ceskasson Blue Moon, this chap is classic in outline, firm & fit throughout & can really move on. Just preferred head of 1, but has defiantly has quality & time on his side.

PGD (2)

1 Burrows’ Pendevour Pierrot, masculine & clean typical outline which he consistently holds together, has correct balance of skull to foreface, providing correct impression in outline, power in arched neck which flows through grand forehand, ribs well sprung & muscular ached loin, has development in quarters, beautiful coat & body, just flows with easy side gait to win BD;

2 Lewis’ Komidion Nickelodeon avec Dajaces, just not presenting the outline of 1 nor was he relaxing to give smooth neck into shoulders. Well bodied & beautifully prepared with his correct silky texture to his feathering, decent head with correct stop & strength in muzzle without being coarse or too strong. Would have liked a touch more drive.

OD (4)

Each had attributes in this class, but concentration to job determined places.

1 Burrows’ Pendevour Pascal, beautifully put down & has shapely outline with correct strength in loin & good tailset, very good bone & padded feet. Perhaps a touch more underjaw would be an advantage. Just not as settled to his job in the challenge, shame, but on another showing – who knows;

2 Lewis’ Komidion Fanfare Dajaces, despite his 10 years, this boy performed with vigour & style. Just not the total bloom of the young boys, but still in super condition. This is a lasting breed & this one proves that;

3 Atter & Bowerman’s Ridley Tomas.

PB (1)

1 Tobijanski’s Janski Kuralan, 9 months litter sister to BP. Again she is a pleasure to go over as it is always with quality, type & balance, she has all these attributes. Feminine but has strength, correct body for age. Just not quite as competent as her brother.

JB (1)

1 Tobijanski’s Janski Ultra Violet, as I went over this girl, she just made me smile, really think highly of her. She is easy on the hands & easy on the eye. Her action is smooth, ground covering with reach & drive that can only be achieved by correct skeletal make & shape, lovely balance & just right for body, topped by her beautifully presented coat. She is confident & full of personality, could not get past her. Did not realise that I gave her dam her first BOB. BOB.

PGB (1)

1 Atter’s Ridley Ulrika, classic bitch standing & did not let you down on the move, in the class. Has such a true outline with shapely topline, super tailset & carriage, loved her head with big nose & correct blunt wedge shape, with slight but noticeable stop, good bone & padded feet. Loved her in the class, but distracted in the challenge.

OB (4)

Bit frustrating as these girls had quality but chose not to always show it. 3rd placed bitch had it on the stand but did not cooperate on the move.

1 Richardson’s Talyot Hermione, ultra feminine & in gleaming condition, handled to advantage to bring out her best, agile & supple but not weak, presented the picture on the move with ground cover on side action & positive coming & going, fabulous condition & muscular quarters. RBB;

2 Fewings’ Komidion Blackthorpe River Rhapsody, balance of head with blunt foreface & strong jaw, has arched reachy neckline, ribs are sprung leading to developed arched loin, width of rump & low hocks. Just not the verve of the winner on the go;

3 Fewings’ Komidion Madrigal. Breeder Fewings’, full of type & the quality I have come to expect from this kennel, classic outline, super order, in each & performing in unison. Well deserved their wins, here & the big ring.
