CAIRN JUDGE WINDSOR 11

Cairn Terriers

PD (2)

1 Newton’s Strathinver Specification, wheaten, 9 month with a masculine head & good sized teeth, nice length of neck, balanced with a nice length of loin, moved well, needs his new coat to finish him off;

2 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Renshaw There And Back Again, dark brindle, 9 months, more mature than 1, nice head with full furnishings with more coat than 1. Moved OK, showed well for his handler.

JD (1)

1 Keeve’s Seveek Who Dare’s Wins, good head, correct shaped eye, good stop & correct dentition, nice length of neck, rear angulations gave him superb extension on the rear when moving. Also proved he could sit to command in his later class.

PGD (2)

1 Confue’s Anjofra I’m Not Going, gr/br of a nice size & well balanced. Good shoulders giving to a good level topline, would like to see him taken just a touch quicker on the move but he moved well & showed well. RBD;

2 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Bireslaw Fable, brindle with a good head & expression, moved OK, not as well balanced as 1. Alert to his handler.

LD (2)

1 Thompson’s Castleline Bang On Time, this light red boy carries himself so well, he has a typical masculine head with dark mask & dark nicely placed ears. Nicely balanced, allowing him to move well keeping a level topline. Found out afterwards that he was not handled by his owner but he still showed his socks off & stood out in the final line up. BD;

2 Kinchin’s Tyreece’s Ticks at Pennidazzle, r/br with masculine head, moved steadily, movement would benefit from losing a little weight.

OD (0).

GCD (1)

1 S Who Dare’s Wins.

PB (4)

1 Thompson’s Castleline Peggy Sue, 10 months wheaten with a feminine head which has a good stop, lovely dark eye, nicely angled shoulders, good topline, moved well & shows well. I do hope the coat comes soon. BP;

2 Yate’s Pendley Playaway, nice showy bitch who did push hard for first place, more mature than 1 & in full coat, good head, & expression, nice length of neck, balanced with a nice outline. Showed well;

3 Day’s Trekhilli Beanie Baby.

JB (4)

1 Kinton’s Woodthorpe Maybe This Thyme, gr/br good head with correct eye, good length of neck flowing into nice shoulders, balanced angulations & good overall size. Just over 12 months but kept on showing when others stopped. RBB;

2 Day’s Trekhilli Beanie Baby, dark brindle with an attractive head & expression;

3 Kinton’s Teddeana Jorga Fox.

PGB (6)

1 Dolan’s Glenrood Masqerade, wheaten with gorgeous head & expression, who I have admired from the ringside, so it was nice to find that she was nice to go over too. Nice length of neck flowed into good shoulders, nice length of back, good strong hindquarters which allowed for good movement. Happy, alert & with a nice outline. BB & BOB;

2 Yate’s Bireslaw Only Make Believe to Pendley, wh/br with feminine head & expression. Of a different build to 1 but is nicely balanced with a nice straight front. Moved OK, shows very well;

3 Kinton’s Woodthorpe Playin For Thyme.

LB (5)

1 Osborn’s Tweeslam Winter Magic, r/br with pleasing head & expression, nicely proportioned, moved well, alert to her handler but in the challenge stopped showing;

2 Waugh’s Tribannon In The Limelight, wheaten bitch who gave her handler a hard time. Nice head & expression, shoulders well placed, level topline, nice length of back & loin. Tailset good, moved well, only just missed out on winning this class;

3 McIntyre’s Glenchess Chloe.

OB (2)

1 Dolan’s Glenrood Warrior Princess, dark brindle with feminine head, nicely balanced showy bitch; 2 Osborn’s Tweeslam Maid By Magic, red bitch who showed well & kept a level topline. Well presented & alert to her handler.
