Cairn Terriers

JD (2)

1 Carter & Clarke’s Lentrica Rocket Man at Carernwil, light wheaten dog, good stop, well placed ears & big teeth with correct scissor bite. Nice type with good bone & well muscled, moved well & held a good topline, new coat just coming in of correct texture. Moved & showed well. BD;

2 Peers’ Tweedisle Lively Lad, r/br boy, good masculine head, good length of neck, nicely balanced, large teeth correct bite, pity he wasn’t making the most of his ears today. Excellent quality double coat, level topline held on the move, good tailset. Moved with drive at rear, just needs to tighten up in front, this should come with maturity. BP.

PGD (2)

1 Peers’ Tweedisle Tugman, wheaten boy, dark points in excellent quality double coat, large teeth, correct scissor bite. Moved very well, reaching out well in front & driving from rear, nicely balanced with good bone & muscle. Lost out of showmanship in the line-up for BD. RBD;

2 Kinchin’s Pennidazzle All Spruced Up, dark brindle boy, nice head proportions, correct ear placement, good topline, & tailset. Harsh coat, moved & showed steadily.

OD (0).

JB (1)

1 Peers’ Tweedisle Bright Star, light wheaten bitch, neat well placed ears, correct mouth, dark eye of correct shape. Good length of neck, into shoulder, & good topline. Shown in full coat, good texture but just starting to blow. Good front movement & nice spring of rib, supple loin. Good muscled hindquarters, showed well when settled.

PGB (3,1a)

1 Clayton’s Carradine Here Comes Dolly, nice feminine red bitch with keen expression, neat well placed ears. Excellent double coat of correct texture, good bone & muscle, nice proportions on this bitch, moved well & kept a level topline on the move, well set on tail. Came up against an exceptional bitch in challenge for BB. RBB;

2 Kinchin’s Pennidazzle Tuesdays Child, nice headed bitch with keen expression, good ear placement & correct bite. Would prefer a slightly darker eye. Good front assembly & spring of rib with a harsh double coat. Level topline kept on the move, correct tailset, showed steadily.

OB (2)

1 Clarke’s Ch Lentrica Dolly Daydream, feminine wh/br with dark mask, setting off a beautiful head, keen expression, good length of neck, level topline & tailset correct, held on the move. Correct quality coat, in excellent body condition with good muscle. I have admired this bitch from ringside & she did not disappoint me, she never put a foot wrong, presented & shown very well. BB & BOB;

2 Kinchin’s Carradine Ruby Tuesday at Pennidazzle, dark brindle bitch with feminine head, good ear placement, shown in full coat of correct texture, good topline & tailset, thoroughly enjoying her day showing, a quality bitch but carrying a bit of extra weight which did affect her movement today.
