Cairn Terriers

PD

1 Catto’s Nordcairns Once Upon A Time at Birselaw, 7 months silver/br & what a one to start the entry with! Beautiful head & expression, spot on for size & balance, ample bone & rib, hard topline, tail bang on, sound & steady mover in great coat. Has a lot of scope & must have a great future. CC & BP.

JD

1 Parkin’s Carradine My Mate Matthew, 17 months wheaten/br rather at the rangy stage, very attractive head & expression, nicely balanced frame but needs to body up with maturity & tighten in front. Quality coat.

LD

1 Lamb & Saltmarsh’s Renshaw There And Back Again under Macmoon, gr/br of excellent type & size, very balanced head but ears could be better set & neater. Satisfying to go over, very well put together & in good jacket. Moved briskly;

2 Waites’ Svendalens Snow Knight, wheaten/br slightly bigger framed than 1 & a little lighter bodied but handled himself well on he moved & was in good coat;

3 Fortune’s Eglish Willies Wee Man with Essdeeeff.

OD

1 Percy’s Winetta Stand And Deliver, gr/br of excellent type, pleasing head & expression, ideal balance of outline, nicely bodied, coat texture of puppy gave him the edge but he moves smartly & true. RCC;

2 Catto’s Ch Birselaw The Thrill Of It All, r/br of excellent type, very typical head & expression, better coat texture than 1 but he was lighter in body condition. Very steady mover. Carrying more body covering it would probably have been the other way around;

3 Pavlova’s Rus Ch U’Jinn Macdonald.

VD 1 Parkin’s Roachdee Mystery Of The Full Moon, 7½ wheaten in spanking condition, really appealing head & expression, excellent proportions, in great body & coat, sadly front movement is now disappointingly wide.

PB

1 Waites’ Seveek Snow Angel with Svendalens, 8½ wheaten/br not using her tail as assertively as she could but she’s a baby & has so much type & quality. Very attractive head & expression, well proportioned body with excellent overall construction, in great coat & moving soundly. Should finish up well;

2 Confue’s Anjofra Mad About Me, 10 months wheaten/br, not quite the intense head quality of 1 or as clean coming towards me but she is typical, feminine & outgoing & was in good jacket;

3 Saich’s Lindcoly Secret Adventure.

JB

1 Dolan’s Glenrood Magic Spell, 14½ months gr/br full of breed type & quality, lovely head & eye, very well balanced outline & in great coat. Spritely mover, just needs to tighten in front & then could easily make up;

2 Percy’s Winetta Duchess Dora, 15 months r/br of excellent basic type but slightly longer cast than 1 so looking in need of her ‘middlepiece’. Plenty of attitude & very appealing forehand, handles herself well on the move;

3 Saich’s Lindcoly Ice Ice Baby.

PGB

1 Confue’s Anjofra Mymble, gr/br, very feminine yet losing nothing in bone & substance, delightful head & expression, excellent balance, very accurate mover who covered the ground with ease;

2 Berrecloth’s Sybster Sanderoma, wheaten, bigger framed than 1 but still balanced. Very appealing head & expression, holds her outline well, pleasing coat texture, moving a little closer behind than 1;

3 L Ice Ice Baby.

LB 1 Osborn’s Tweslam Thistle Be Magic, gr/br, feminine & so very honest. Well proportioned head if a little full in eye, really well angulated front & back, excellent size & shape & such a steady mover. Not dripping in coat but has enough & it is of good texture. RCC;

2 Keeves’ Seveek Living The Dream, wheaten, stronger type all through but not to the point of being coarse. Typical in head, solidly made, nicely balanced, doesn’t carry her tail as well as 1 & could be a little truer coming on;

3 Yates & Johnson’s Pendley Hester.

OB

1 Dolan’s Castleline Peggy Sue, mature wheaten in beautiful condition & showing sensibly. Charming head & expression, very nicely put together, so well balanced, full of quality & a sound steady mover. Ideally I would have liked a little more coat but her overall correctness, size & shape & the way she moved more than compensated. CC & BOB
