CAIRN JUDGE RICHMOND 19

It was an honour and Privilege to judge the Richmond Championship Show, as my first Championship Show appointment. This show is very poignant to me, as it is the first show I ever attended, as far back as 1991 as a spectator. Praise must go to my 2 very able stewards Jo and Simon, I would also like to thank all the exhibitors for supporting me today and taking time to show their dogs under me. Today was all about quality, my top Cairns were true examples of all that is good in the breed, I just wish I had more tickets.

PD (1)

1 Peers Tweedisle Jaunty Lad, 11 month old smart puppy, pleasing head with a good stop, correct bite, shoulder placement in the right place, strong front, moved well, just pipped to the post for best by the puppy bitch. (BPD)

JD (1)

1 Weinberger’s Cruzo Chorister With Correnie, a young dog of quality, very good head, correct scissor bite, good shoulders that flowed in to a level top line, tail set bang on, true movement front and back, the right amount of bone, in good condition, he has a promising future.

PGD (3)

1 Keeves Seveek, Treasure The Dream, smart red appealing head, level top line moved well.

2 Kippens Seevek Look To The Future At Chezaku, a wheaten dog with dark mask, nice head in good coat liked his size and amount of bone, gave his owner a hard time today.

3 Kippens Chezaku The Composer.

LD (2)

1 Days Tribannon Chocolate Chip At Trekhilli, this dog has an outstanding head with a good stop, correct bite, clean shoulder placement with a level top line, good movement, plenty of bone, coat and grooming a credit to his owner, considered for RCC.

2 Kippens Seevek Look To The future At Chezaku, 2nd in previous class same comments apply.

OD (4)

1 Waugh’s Ch. Tribannon Karamak, this dog ticks all the boxes for me, he radiates quality, the most wonderful head with a good stop, large teeth with a scissor bite, excellent shoulder placement, level top line, good depth of rib, effortless movement, good feet, shown in a quality coat. (DCC & BOB)

2 Ch. Weinberger’s Correnie Hurricane Fly, a quality dog, who has an appealing masculine head, with a good mouth, correct scissor bite, good stop, shoulders in the right place, level top line, good tailset, nice straight front, moved well fore and aft, nothing overdone all in moderation, that’s why I admire this dog.

3 Kintons Ch. Woodthorpe I Know The Code.

PB (3,1)

1 Kintons Cloverbrook Unbreakable At Woodthorpe, a happy and exuberant puppy with the type of character all pups should have, this makes for good showmanship, in the future, shown in a full coat of excellent type, very pretty head with a wonderful expression, good shoulder placement, top line as it should be, moved well, good width at back end. Promising. (BPIB).

2 Osborn’s Tweslams Chasing Rainbows, a nice dark brindle puppy, good outline and top line, moved well, nicely presented.

JB (1)

1 Robinsons Cruzo Curtain Call, dark brindle quality bitch, there is everything to like about this beautifully balanced bitch, a head that makes your heart melt, shoulders, top line, tail set all in the right place, movement just so, she is full of character, and has that mischievous twinkle in her eyes, she is one to watch for the future (RCC)

PGB (3)

1 Robinsons, Cruzo Cat Balou, litter sister of the RCC, beautiful bitch, with good ratio of height to length, pleasing expression, good neck and shoulders, level top line, moved well, lost her sparkle in the challenge.

2 McIntyre’s, Cannwood Celtic Charm, a lovely bitch to go over on the table, good length of leg to back, good head, right amount of rib.

3 Keeves, Seevek With Corynthean Sharing Dreams.

LB (3)

A trio of nice bitches.

1 Roberts Cannwood Chance The Moment, as soon as this wheaten bitch entered the ring she never stopped showing, she demanded to be noticed, delightful head, with a good stop, correct bite, excellent neck and shoulders flowing into a good topline, moved well, shown in a good quality full coat, I judged this bitch once before and gave her best puppy and thought her promising then.(BCC)

2 Goldfinch, Tycadno Bright Star For Kanawha, wheaten brindle feminine head of good proportions, good reach of neck and lay back of shoulders, good movement fore and aft, considered her for RCC, she needs more coat at the moment to complete the picture.

3 Morley’s Cannwood Here’s Hetty.

OB (2)

1 Sopers Elitecharm Five Of Diamonds, a well presented feminine bitch of good proportions liked her size and balance, pleasing head, good top line, moved well at one with her handler a joy to watch.

2 Keeves Ch Seevek Hopes N Dreams, I have judged this bitch before and gave her best bitch, everything in this bitch is in harmony, pleasant expression, straight front excellent neck and shoulders moved well, she just wasn’t showing well today.
