CAIRN JUDGE LKA 13

Cairn Terriers

Firstly many thanks to the LKA show committee for giving me the opportunity to judge the Cairn Terriers & for the hospitality afforded to me prior to & on the day of the show. Also thanks to my stewards for their input during the day & to the exhibitors who gave me a fine entry.

Although there were a number of absentees the overall quality attending on the day was pleasing with the bitches surpassing the dogs.

Temperaments of all exhibits was excellent , coats in general were correct, although some were dirty, with some requiring new jackets & more head furnishings, size seems to be more consistent in the junior classes & above with some puppies needing to body up & grow on, plus a few mouths with small & irregular teeth.

Delighted to see a marked improvement in general movement & found more positives than negatives overall with todays entry.
