MINIATURE BULL WELSH KC 11 Judge: Mrs P Dandridge MINIATURE BULL WELSH KC 11 Miniature Bull Terriers Height in our breed is now a big concern & needs to be addressed sooner rather than later. Only one animal went under the measure with two just on & the remainder over. Unfortunately I had cause to wihhold two placings in limit bitch, due to insufficient merits, deviating far from the Standard of the breed. PD (1) 1 Richardson's Quayardson Sir Arthur, b/br/w, strong head, good eye & ear placement, nice expression, correct mouth. A little upright in shoulder. Ample bone for size, movement OK in front a little close behind & tends to loose his topline on the move. Well handled. BP. JD (2) 1 Bennett's Quayardson Sir Alfred, b/br/w, good head, nice eye & ear placement, good forehand & front, movement OK, handled well. PGD (3) 1 Richardson's Quayardson Sir Albus, b/br/w, nice well filled head, nice down face & expression. Mouth fault with left canine. Good front & well sprung rib, topline OK. Movement wide in front but OK in rear. Well handled; 2 Ackroyd's Springridge Danny Zukko, delightful br/w young man, strong well filled head with gentle profile, nice eyes & ears, correct mouth, straight front, good spring of rib, topline & bone, good bend of stifle. Movement once settled OK, handled well; 3 Manoli's Belcanto Toreador. LD (4) 1 Joly's Debully Frantic, white with eye marking, strong well filled head & down face, mouth correct, straight front & shoulder placement, good topline, quarters & bone, nice tight feet. Movement good in front but a little close behind. Handled well; 2 Harrison's Jenkir Thor, b/br/w, good strong head but would have preferred a little more fill in profile. Correct mouth, good spring of rib & depth of brisket. Front is not his fortune. Good angulation & back movement. Just didn't have the sparkle in the ring, handler tried very hard to pep him up. OD (2) 1 Thornley's Warbonnet Jon Bon, tri, this little man just didn't like the table but settled very well once back on the floor. Well filled & turned head with classic roman finish. Wicked eye with ears bang on top, correct mouth, good reach of neck, plenty of bone & substance for size, under the measure. To be critical would have liked a little shorter back. Moved very true both coming & going as if he owned the ring. What a little showman, in super condition, what a true miniature should look like. CC & BOB. PB (2) 1 Sharp's Bellalu Blond Moment, r/w, another little baby who just didn't like the table. Very difficult to assess, needs time to mature & settle, would benefit from some ringcraft training, hopefully will settle with time. JB (2) 1 Jarvis & Thornley's Seaquest Warrior Maiden, white, just on the measure. Good strong well turned & filled head, nice eyes, ears & expression. Has problem with both canines being inverted but not touching roof of mouth. Felt her virtues out weighted this fault. Nice round bone & substance, excellent topline & hindquarters, moved well in both directions, super condition & handled. RCC. PGB (2) 1 Wright's Kofyn Kontessa von Hofstetter, white with eye marking, well turned head but with weak underjaw. Little light on bone & slightly short on front leg. Movement OK in front, tight in back. Handled well. LB (4) 1 Rodger's Erenden Fairy Nuff at Sharbul, delightful girl, head a little long but would have preferred a little more fill under eyes. Correct mouth, straight front, good rear angulation. Ribs still need to spring but she has time on her side. Movement OK both ways, well handled; 2, 3 Withheld. OB (2) 1 Presland & Vincent's Ch White Eyed And Legless in Kofyn, attractive white lady, well filled & turned head, nice eye & ear placement, correct mouth, straight front & tight feet, ample bone for size, well sprung ribs, short topline, nice bend of stifle. Changing coat & showing a few body marks. Moved well both ways, handled very well. CC. PAT DANDRIDGE |
