MINIATURE BULL WELKS 13 Judge(s): MR JOHN BRANCH Miniature Bull Terriers It gave me great pleasure to judge the Miniature Bull Terriers at the above show. I had 25 entries with four absentees. PD (3) 1 Lambert’s Grandopera Didier Drogba of Caliber, 6 months br/w puppy, nicely grown for age, well filled head, good use of ears, pleasant length of neck into a straight front, short coupled having nice bend of stifle, good bone & showing good body shape, moved well both ways. Shame about his bite. Shown very well. BP; 2 Plumley & Workman’s Debull’s Danny Boy, white, well grown puppy, good head, level topline, good straight front, pleasant body lines showing a good bend of stifle. Moved well towards a little close behind when going away. JD (4) 1 McGregor’s Merlindan Captain Chaos, attentive to handler so showed himself well, b/br/w in lovely condition, well filled head, neat well used ears, correct bite, tight lips, nice length of neck, good level topline, strong shoulders, giving very good body shape, holds his tail a tad high. Movement just a little close behind. RCC; 2 Hughes’ Graymor Gallantry, well conditioned br/w, well filled head, straight front with strong shoulders, short back, good body lines, moved well both ways; 3 Hearne, Singleton & Bloom’s Warbonnet Kinda Kinky. PGD (0). LD (3) 1 Presland & Vincent’s Koyn Kunning Linguist, well conditioned b/br/w, in lovely show condition, well filled head, neat ears, good length of neck, straight front, good body & strong quarters, showed very well, moved well; 2 Bennett’s Quayardson Sir Alfred, b/br, in good condition, showed well, well filled head with lovely dark eye, good small ears, level topline, very well muscled lad. OD (3) 1 Guerrero’s Am Ch Cambria’s Cisco Kidd, b/br/w in excellent condition & quite a showman, well filled head, good mouth, neat ears, pleasant length of neck into good body lines, straight well boned front, good bend of stifle, lovely topline, moved well both ways. CC & BOB; 2 Dodwell’s Decadance Defender, b/br/w, heavyweight in good condition, strong well filled head, good front & topline, mature dog, showed very well. PB (1) 1 Gardener & Twyman’s Bullypins Mystique into Laronbelle, br/w, a terrier type of classic lines, good well filled head, good dark eye, nice mouth with tight lips, straight front, shows strong quarters, showed well for handler. JB (2) 1 Hughes’ Graymor Glacial Dawn, white, well shown in good condition, strong well filled head, nice eye, good body lines, well muscled, in lovely coat, moved well; 2 Holbrook’s Merlindan Cast A Spell at Terissot, a well conditioned brindle, good head shape. Would have liked a more triangular eye shape. Very good body lines from straight front to bend of stifle, level topline, moved & showed well. PGB (2) 1 Nicoll’s Decadance Diamantra, white with red ear patch, in very good condition, strong well filled head, parallel front with compact feet, strong body into good quarters, showed well. LB (2) 1 Severn’s Olympusbulys Alaena, br/w, well filled head into good body lines, broad chest, strong shoulders & quarters, moved well; 2 Wright’s Kofyn Kontessa von Hofstetter, white with eye patch, well filled head showing good small, well used ears into a short backed body line & strong quarters, showed well. OB (5) 1 Llewellyn’s Bullypins Kalypso, b/br/w, a strong well grown bitch showing excellent body lines, good well filled head, lovely dark eye & small ear, straight front, very good bend of stifle, enjoyed being in the ring, showed & moved well. CC; 2 Richardson’s Quayardson Lady Bella, well balanced mature bitch, strong head, dark eye good expression, short, well coupled good stifles. Needs to show more drive when moving. RCC. J BRANCH |
