MINIATURE BULL THREE COUNTIES 23 Judge: Mr M Walshaw Many thanks to the officers and committee for the invitation to judge at this lovely show, in glorious surroundings, with the Malvern Hills looking on impressively. It was a very warm day, but the dogs took it in their strides and performed admirably. Many thanks to the exhibitors for their entries, although only a small entry, it was a delight to have some quality dogs of this lovely breed. 979. Bull Terrier (Miniature) - Open Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 1 1ST 2856 - Graymor Glacial Harvest for Neverland (Mrs D Y & Mr G Godsall & Hughes). White. Stood alone but a worthy winner. Just a youngster but pleased for overall shape, type & size. Typical head, good fill, good eye and tidy ears. Well angled front and rear. Good ribbing strong loin and quarters filling out. Tidy tailset. Moved really well, covering the ground in typical gait. BD 982. Bull Terrier (Miniature) - Junior Bitch Entries: 3 Absentees: 0 1ST 2862 - Jenkir Artemis (Mrs D & Mr R & Mrs J Wilson & Wilson & Harrison) Brindle and white. Good for overall size, type, well balanced, enough bone and substance. Clean through neck and a nice front. Used her ears. Covered the ground well, but would like a little more drive from behind. 2ND 2860 - Oakfayre's Empress Eternal (Miss A Thompson) .Brindle & white. Plenty of this one, but well made and of excellent type. Well headed bitch, good shape, correct bite and eye. Strong neck. good bone and substance. Pleasing for size, type and overall balance. Ok through a typical head. Excellent neck. Good through clean ribs and well coupled and tidy tailset. Good angulation front and rear. Moved ok, needs to steady, a little more ringcraft should do the trick 984. Bull Terrier (Miniature) - Open Bitch Entries: 3 Absentees: 0 1ST 2859 - Risibully Girls On Film with Fergustaff JW (Mrs L J Marshallsay) . one I have judged as a youngster and she impressed then. Good to see how she has developed, she is well schooled, but has lost none of that typical MBT sprit. She never stopped showing, despite the heat, such ring presence. Very feminine, clean to go over, cracking head, well filled, and smart ears, which are used to perfection. Clean through neck and shoulders. good bone, ribbing and substance with strong loin. Presented in good condition and muscletone. Waltzed around the ring as if she owned it, in typical style, shouting, im the one. Loved her. BB & BOB. She went well in the group where she was shortlisted twice. 2ND 2857 - Jenkir Hera (Mrs J Harrison). Another quality bitch. Pleasing through a well filled typical head. Compact through body and well angled front and rear. Well ribbed with substance to body. She moved well in typical fashion. Didn't reappear for RB challenge. 3RD 2861 - Olympusbulys Athena (Mrs D, Mr R, Mr J & Mrs J Wilson & Harper) Mark Walshaw JANMARK |
