BULL MINIATURE THREE COUNTIES 09 Judge/s:Miss M Vincent
My thanks to the Committee of Three Counties for their invitation to judge and unselfish hospitality. My thanks also to the exhibitors for providing me with top quality dogs to examine, all were worthy of top honours and my final choices were really hair splitting. All the dogs present stood alone in their classes but were worthy winners and definitely fit for function and in line with latest KC directive they all had a full compliment of large, brilliant white teeth, however, if you fault judge this particular breed you could end up with something quite un-typical. OD 1) Hearne, Singleton and Paterson’s Warbonnet Galetia, r/w superb head piece with seamless arc, filled all through, strong underjaw, attractive eye, ears bang on top and flat between. Reachy, muscled neck, desired topline, well sprung rib back to muscular loin, strong well angulated hind quarters with prominent second thigh. Moved typically on tidy feet, put down and presented to the highest degree, pleased to award him BD & BOB PB 1) Llewellyn’s Merkava Kleopatra By Bullypins, sparkling white of 8 mths, advanced maturity for her age, already has a super profile with fill and strong underjaw, most wickedest eye ever and ears bang on top, good lay of shoulder, straight front, excellent body proportions, well angulated hind quarters with good muscle tone and second thigh already generating power, moved out soundly and showed her socks off, the best on the day for size which clinched her BB, pushed for BOB, just swayed by the full maturity of the male, BB, BOS & BPIB. JB 1) Chapman’s Grandopera Global Warming At Delektabull, r/w 16 mths, beautiful bitch from the top drawer, another with desired head properties, to include profile with fill, underjaw, eye and ears, good arch of neck leading to excellent shoulder placement, full brisket and ribbing, good bone and tight feet, super topline and tail set and again muscular, angulated quarters. Moved soundly fore and aft, immaculate presentation, has an air of immaturity about her and feel her best is yet to come. PGB 1) Smith’s Badlesmere Be Lucky, brin/white, high quality girl with lots to like but needs to be gone over to appreciate fully as she doesn’t sell herself. Lovely shape to head, with fill and desired ear placement, straight front, good shoulder, broad chest, well rounded body, good tail set and excellent quarters. Moved soundly on neat feet but although muscled, not as hard all through as the other bitches. OB 1) McGregor’s Bullypins Millima Of Merlindan, brn/white, glorious head with excellent length, correct profile, fill all through, with depth through to strong underjaw, ears bang on top, muscular neck, well laid shoulder with tight elbows, gun barrel front. Balanced body proportions to include deep brisket and sprung ribs, cast iron second thigh and good angulation, carried along soundly and typically on arched toes. Beautifully presented, a real show girl, pushed hard for top slot RBB. Melanie Vincent (Judge)
