MINIATURE BULL JUDGE SOUTHERN COUNTIES 19

A small but very nice quality entry of both dogs and bitches. Thank you to Southern Counties for the invitation and to the exhibitors for bringing their dogs along today. The weather was extremely warm and as lovely as it is to exhibit on grass, I personally feel that dogs, particularly in small breeds, don’t always move as well on grass as they could do.

PGD (1)

1 Harper’s Chattanooba Choo Choo Aedestaurum. A quality Red with a white chest, very strong broad head, ears, neck and shoulders to match. His mouth is just off. Straight front with excellent bone and substance to match his size. Compact well developed body with muscular hind quarters. Moved well in front but could drive a little more from behind. Lots of power packed into this little dog but still retaining an overall balance. Shown in good condition and handled well. In the final challenge for BOB understandably just started to show the effects of a hot day. BD

LD (1/1)

1 Chitty’s Seaquest El Sid. Substantial well marked B/B, long strong head but would like to see little more profile, misplaced incisors, well placed eyes and ears, lots of bone for his size. Nice straight front, well-constructed strong muscular body, good depth to chest and decent length of back. Developed hind quarters, moved freely both ways. Nicely handled and shown. In the dog challenge just preferred the size and compactness of the winner. RBD

PB (2,1)

1 Harpers Aedestaurum Fancy Dress At Olympusbulys. Nine-month-old very smartly marked B/W. Long pleasing head which could do with more fill under the eye, perfect mouth with sound well placed teeth. Standing she presents a very nice outline, her front, shoulder and elegant body all add up to a very well put together bitch for her age. She moved steadily in front and behind and showed herself off and seemed to enjoy her time in the ring. Very well handled. RBB

JB (1,1)

1 Harpers Lancet Land Ukulele, B/B who is well put together. Elegant feminine head, mouth just off, wicked eye and expression matched with well placed ears right on top. Ample bone for her size, decent length of back, moved soundly. Another nice young bitch who seemed to enjoy herself today. Presented and handled well. BJ

PGB (2,1)

1 Dobbins Bullfortis Silver Bride With Debully, white with eye mark, super little mini girl, full of life and showed her socks off. Excellent head filled and turned topped off with a perfect mouth. Lovely compact body, short back, nice proportions throughout, well-set tail. Strong hind quarters with the bone and substance to compliment her size. A lovely typey bitch with lots of quality and every inch a mini. She moved well and was handled very nicely. In the final challenge her overall balance and compactness won her the honours today. I was pleased to award her BB & BOB
